I'd coat my daughters A1. I clean it regularly but she has to park everyday at the local train station. The car park is surrounded by trees and I'm sure the birds aim for her car. It is supposed to have protection from the dealer but if it has it is rubbish. Your videos have inspired me to get into detailng almost as a hobby. Of all the guys on YT detailing you are about the only one who regularly takes seats out... I'm literally shouting at the others... Take the seats out...
I believe that I am the only Brazilian to see your videos, I thank each video and with that I gain a lot of knowledge thanks and stay strong on the channel
Great job, as usual! I would have loved to see the owner's reaction when seeing the "new" van! The charity is going to love it!! You do amazing work. Love your videos and your accent!!
Hi, first of all I want to say that your videos are great! You are a big inspiration to me. I am a very big dutch fan! I loved cleaning cars from the age of 14 and now that I finished school I wanted to work as a detailer. But I did not have any money nor experience, so I started working for a car dealer. I work 5 days a week for him and I learn a lot and quickly thanks to your videos. One day my aunt came to me and he showed me his volkswagen polo from 1992 which has been sitting in his garage for over 10 years. It is a dark green polo. It was all mussy and in very bad condition. The engine was still fine. He did some work on it and it runs perfect, but he asked me if i would detail his car, because he wanted it restored. So with all the money I had, I bought a polishing machine and all the stuff I needed and the car looks absolutely stunning. It almost looks like brand new. He takes it to car shows and the people love it. But his birthday is the 30th of oktober and I wanted to surprise him with a ceramic coating. But because this is quite expensive, I really want to win one of your coatings. I think that he will be absolutly amesed to see his car shine bright spanking new again and I will be greatfull for you forever! Please continue making videos because I really like them! Have a nice day, Mats Wehnes matswehnes@outlook.com
I was concerned about your legs when you were spraying the acid on the cement (sorry I'm old enough to be your grandmother🤦) Great that you did the job for free - good man! I love your videos.
In answer to your question I have a story 2013, a past friend who owned a Camry I think it was a 1997 model, it was filled to brim with clothes that were damp, papers and dog hair on the seat, it had cigarette butts overflowing in the ashtray and it smelt like a dog hair and urine and the head lining on the drivers side was spot stained . I refused to get in it, we had agreed to go out for a night at the club and he came to pick me and up and sent me message warning me his car a "little dirty" when he arrived i almost gagged and I refused to get in, I ended up taking a taxi to the city.
Some charity recipient is going to be very fortunate to receive this van. One of your VERY BEST efforts. Cannot believe how well your efforts paid off especially the cargo area flooring and exterior vinyl trim..
Such a cool gesture and yet 12 "people" dislike the video ... HOW ?! And I want the ceramic coat to put on my 1980 Ford Corcel! Please, send it to Brazil!!!! =D
My experience running a channel (not this acc obviously lol) is that it can be for the most stupid things. Maybe they don't like the intro sequence, maybe the music, maybe just because they got a BetFred advert... as if that's controllable by the RU-vid author...
Another great video and a beautiful gesture. End result was awesome, whoever gets it will be chuffed! Thank you 🙏 I’d coat my little Smart ForTwo, British Racing Green, I fell in love with the colour as soon as I saw it and just had to get one. It will be great to know it will stay protected and as beautiful as it is just now for ever 💚
Btw Gary ...Wee Moose is looking more & more like a microfiber washing mitt everyday lol ...you could make a few Bob getting Wee Moose toys made up like the meerkat franchise
Texas, USA here... I've been watching your videos because I thoroughly enjoy watching them. This video really made me push that subscribe button though. It really warms my heart to see a guy that is great at his job, but finds the time and generosity to do something that shows what a stand up guy you are. Thanks. I definitely look forward to seeing all your videos!
Super long comment here sorry! My best friend who had a Hilux. A nice one and it was so pristine. He used to go off road with the windows down as mud everywhere. Never cleaned it, got dents all over I think it hurt me more. I refused to get in it because it used to get mud stains on my nice clothes whenever we went out. I subscribe to lots of detailers but after just driving 4600km from Perth to Brisbane Australia I decided to spend my data watching this. This guy is the most thorough. When I saw the rusty bolts I was like oh no then he painted them! Then the wheels and he trimmed them! So satisfying. I'd use the ceramic coating on my Camry. Yeah yeah I know it's not flash but it's all I got and the newest car I've owned. I always look after everything I've had. After 4600km it was so filthy I couldn't sleep. I've washed it but been meaning to do a full cut and polish and seal it with a coating but obviously since I drive a Camry and money is tight I couldn't justify spending it on coatings to the better half.
I did this on the front bumper grille, its slowly fading again 6 months later, my front bumper needs painting anyway so Ill probably just spray it satin black when that gets done.
I bought my dad's ford Mondeo zetec when he died in Jan to help my mum with the costs and to keep it in the family I'd use it on that one. What a difference in that van and well done on helping them out like that
My sister and sister in-law and wife have cars that are'filthy' and it makes me feel sick every time I have to go into them. If I won I would use the product on my 2 cars as they get a lot of exposure to UV rays where I live. Thanks so much your little tricks and tips have helped me detail my cars and even caravan to a higher standard. Cheers Trent
I have two older vehicles, a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2005 Cadillac DeVille, that could definitely use the kits! Awesome work. I love watching your videos. It inspires me to do more on my own cars.
Got to take my hat off to you! Being from Blackpool, there are a fair few services that would love to be the recipient of the van, you guys really show that there is a lot of good in the area and have restored my faith at least!
I have a mate called Paul who has a seven seater and he has five kids we go fishing once a month and we would take it in turns to use ours cars until I told him I could no longer sit in his car with all the rubbish and sweets I’ve now told him that we are using my car all the time now the last time I got out of his car I had three Haribo sweets stuck to my trousers . I have a very small c1 so keep it clean and tidy . Keep the videos coming I love them it soothes my ocd lol cheers Andy
Omg that an turned out great another fantastic job. My sister in law has a car that makes all your jobs look clean. She has horses and the car is full of horse food, straw, muck from her boots and McDonald’s bags. I kid you not you would be lucky to fit 2 people in her Honda CR-V. Oh buy the way I would use the coating on my 3 door white ford Sierra. Heading down to Blackpool next week for a wee holiday.😍
What a lovely gesture .... the new owners will be delighted with their ‘new’ van. You deserve all the good luck that I hope is coming your way. Great job, well done.
What a real star you are ...all that hard graft for a great cause :) . I'd like to say my brother is a decorator , has an 04 little vauxhall van that will put to shame any of your dirtiest cars on here..no kidding . emulsion, filler dust etc etc.only the driver's seat habitable .I've just got my wife a Hyundai i10 2014 with only 3600 miles , I've done the best I can from following your uploads and a ceramic coating would be the icing on the cake this little car is worthy of .keep the videos coming ... brilliant .
Its quite surprising how much easier life is removing the seats from a vehicle to clean the dirty wee shites in the hardest places. Great seeing local companies coming together and donating there old vans and fantastic your your also taking the time to valet it for free. Must be a fantastic community you've got there
Brilliant work helping out with this van. I recently purchased an old 1984 VW Polo Formel E of which there are only 5 left in the UK. I would be delighted to be able to preserve its paint work for years to come so that people can enjoy the car at shows
Wow!! you did a fantastic job man. You are a very rare and noble man. I have a tip for you on how to "fix" those deep scratches in the plastic trim(s) ..Just simply heat them up with your heat gun, until you see them beginning to get a "sheen" to them, and stop heating them up, when they cool off, they will look almost as good as new, you may have to wipe them down a bit, and then they will look awesome. You did a really fine job I enjoyed watching you do this, You have a very good talent. Thank you for making this video for all of us to see.
I admire your hard work and dedication as well as attention to detail on every car no matter what it is! I will even watch every RU-vid ad in full for you.
I love cleaning vans. Especially they way smith have taking everything out. I have bought a few that have been absolutely minging. And what a smile you have at the end. Even the difference on the roof around your 7,30 mark you can see it shine. Top notch job again mate and even better for doing it as a favour for charity
Love the videos! I used to clean cars for national car rental, and I would clean the entire windshield from the passenger side. This way you will don’t fight the stealing wheel. Keep up the nice work!
Been watching your vids for a good while now, what a great chap for cleaning the van for free for a good cause! If I won the ceramic coating I'd put it on my own car, a Seat Leon, but I'd go out and buy a DA polisher to sort out the swirls and imperfections before sealing it for the winter.
whoever thought watching someone deep cleaning a car would make me feel so satisfied... but omg... Im so glad there are many others that enjoy watching weird things like I do haha x love it
Win win situation with your videos mate. My wife falls asleep as I watch these videos in the evening, she now insists on it. So satisfying watching the years of neglect wash away. Top man doing this one for charity. Put my name in the hat for the ceramic coating, my ford Kuga could do with some TLC. My sister in laws car is the most bogging vehicle on the planet, McDonalds wrappings and heavy make-up caked on everywhere. To be fair tho, she picked me up in it after walking the west highland way. Hadn’t washed in 4 days so I fitted right in with the filth! Cheers for the videos.
My wife has a 2011 Honda Element that she bought before we ever met and this thing is her “2nd home”. She consistently fills it with seemingly endless bags and shoes and work clothes(she is a nurse). It’s always bothered me to drive or be in it because I’m the only person who has ever washed/wax’d/detailed it (twice at this point...it’s just such a big process with as much filth and grime she builds up in it). My last detail was after we gave birth to our first child, Phoebe and my wife has done an AMAZING job at keeping her Element clean. It’s nickname is Toaster. I wish I could put up a picture of it’s last detail, I spent 3 days doing a complete “restoration” on it so it would be baby appropriate. If I got the Ceramic kit though, I’d have to apply it to my personal 2008 Honda Legend (Acura RL). I work at a warehouse with a gravel parking lot so ANYTHING I can do to keep my car clean is a lifesaver.
Fantastic work, as always. Moose is being his usual helpful self... the perfect wing man! I have to agree... for 15 quid those wheel covers made a huge difference. Donations like this, in my opinion, has a much greater impact on the community than just dropping money in some collection box. Your time and effort go directly to help improve someone else's life with tangible impact. This is good work! Well done!
I would put the coating on my New to me 2016 Jetta. I live in Amarillo Texas and we get all the crazy weather. Blazing hot summers, Sub Freezing Winters, Massive Thunderstorms with Flash Flood Rainfall and Hail. It would be a great climate to test coatings out on a vehicle. If it can survive here and should survive anywhere. Thanks for all the great videos and keep up the good work!
Anyone else would have given it a quick clean and out the door as its a freebie, but you did it right shows what a professional you are, good on you sir !! and I would love one of the ceramic glazing kits for my nissan x trail as it will make the palatial ruby red pearlescent paint pop
Yeah. Red faded Honda Jazz. Belongs to my sister. Vomit on the back seats, junk in the boot, little stones, mud, filth and leaves in the front and back floor, burst pepsi can in a cup holder. The fluid turned to goo as it sat there for months on end during the hot weather...last year! Tonnes of tree sap, bird poo, cobwebs and leaves on the outside. Very, very grimey windows, moss in all the nooks and crannies. It was just absolutely awful! Had to borrow the car, wife and I cleaned it inside out. Looked much better. Didn't last long though once I return the car back to my sister! 😂 I'd love one of those Armour Shield kits please! I could use it on my sisters car. Make it easier to clean in future ☺ Keep with the great videos. I enjoy them very much!
