Cleaning a Tabriz rug with dog Diarrhea Relaxing ASMR 

We do keep rinsing until no more dirty water comes out, the spinner rinses any (what little) dirty water is left, We like our rugs to be fully submerged for as long as possible, it helps release deep down soils. Apologies Karen for the standing water, Its how we clean, soaking gets better results in our opinion. Bit like your washing machine where your clothes sit in water for a while then the rinse starts. Hope it doesn't put you off too much.

My wife Sian knows more about the history and whereabouts of rugs as she needs to know because she repairs them, I will try and add some information about certain rugs if i feel its worth adding, Tabriz (a province in Iran) is where the rug is made usually and may be followed by a name of the design like mahi for instance. I shall include more snippits like that in future, hope this helps, Thanks for your comment.

No red pad on this Tabriz Declan, Colours are still vibrant so no need to use one plus it could possibly damage the silk (viscose) highlights. If you look at my Chinese rug videos or the Indian runner rug, I use a red pad then as it helps take off the top dead bits of wool and bring out the deep down colours and softness. But wouldn't use it on a Tabriz.

Not very good, great for cleaning the pit but doesn't work well on rugs., We have a new purple squeegee which is also not very good coming up in our next video (hopefully Wednesday or Thursday), Going to stick with my carpet wand for squeegee action for now and then import one towards the end of the month, as we can't find decent ones in the UK.

We clean differently here at arcadia rug spa. Most professional rug cleaners clean the surface of the rug then turn it over and clean the back of the rug all with the water running straight off and into a drain. Like having a shower. It’s an effective way to clean a rug, We believe the rug should stand in as much water as possible so it can penetrate deep into the fibres and knots to help emulsify even the deepest, hardest to reach soils and dirt’s, a bit like a bath followed by several showers of rinsing, I suppose our clean is more like a washing machine where the clothes sit in soapy water while releasing their soils for 30 minutes then get rinsed extensively with fresh water. Washing machines come with a pre-soak, this is where the clothes soak in soapy water, while they release all their soils. Our rug clean is very similar. We’ve cleaned with rapid drainage and found the rugs still contained deep down soils, we’ve cleaned rugs thoroughly then put them in soapy water for 20 minutes and soils start to flood out so this is why we now submerge and soak our rugs for as long as possible then submerge in fresh water till the water is clear. A lot of rug cleaners have a pre-soak tank where the rugs are placed for 30 minutes, similar to how we clean in our pit. Both ways of cleaning are great, we just prefer the submersion clean better, it’s a bit longer but we feel it’s worth it.

Customer was over the moon with the rug. Thoroughly cleaned, Anti microbial treated and stain completely gone, No smell from the area that had the diarrhea. I'd say the opposite to what you said and so would our customer, Luckily you weren't my customer on this occasion, If you were, I would of cleaned it again for you free of charge.
