let me know if you have any other videos u wanna see! ive got a list of some that u guys have already asked for that im working through - its always nice to make vids that u guys really wanna see! x
Can you make a video explaining how much it cost to own ferrets? Most video are based in US and I've been told by UK owners that owning ferrets are not as expensive x
Yeah I agree! But it is sooooo rewarding to watch your little cuties explore the area that you just cleaned for them, well it is at least for me and snowy 💛xx
Hey, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your dedication towards your animals and I’ve been watching you ever since you introduced your rats. I am a proud Rat lady now too and just wanted to ask if you have the Slavic double 95 or the Slavic suite royal xl. I’ve got 4 Rat boys and I’m looking into getting a new cage. I’m torn if the 95 would be big enough. Any advice?
thank you so much, that means a lot!! we have the royal xl for the ratties - would definitely recommend this one if your budget allows for it! the 95 would definitely be big enough for 4 boys, but i really dont have any complaints about the xl, so if you have the money and the space i'd suggest this one! this way it allows for you to get a few more rats in the future as well, if it was something you'd be interested in! i've never had the 95 but i'm sure its a great cage too, if that's the one you go for for your boys! x
@@MaddieLeonczek ahhhh thanks so much for the response. I don’t think my dad would ever let me get more ratties. Yeah the price point for the xl is pretty high, so imma have to look into that. And unfortunately since I live in Austria there are not really any second hand options. But thanks a lot and I can not wait to watch your channel grow more 😌
of course!!🥰 in that case id def suggest the 95! you'll have to update me on how it is🐀 i think it looks really pretty as well, since its blue! so def another bonus haha. aw thank you so so much!! 💖 x
hey thanks for the comment! i give her fresh veggies every day haha dw 💕 u can check out my feeding all my pets video if u wanna see what i give her ! x
Not sure if anyone has notified you since this video is a year old now... but pine bedding is considered toxic for rats. It has oils that can cause respiratory problems.
I think she said in the vid that the pine shavings that she uses are “kiln dried” so they should be fine to use. Many rat owners as well as rat breeders in the US use kiln dried pine shavings.
How often do you clean the rats’ cage? It just seems large, so do you spot clean and then deep clean? I don’t know anything about rats but I am interested in them as a possible future pet.
yea i spot clean during the week like the litter tray etc. i probably clean the cage weekly to every week n a half, but i deep clean - like wash all the trays in the cage - every other week to a month i would say! when i do my weekly clean i just wipe down everything w vinegar instead of actually washing it all! but either way it is a lottt of work! it’s not good to deep clean them 2 often or they’ll increase their scent marking in their cage to make it smell like them again and the cage will just smell really quickly. hope this helps! x
Hey, i’m thinking about getting a pet! Would you say ferrets are super hard to take care of? Are they harder than rats? And also, do rats and ferrets smell? If so which one is cleaner and less smelly? Thank u!😆❤️
in my opinion ferrets are definitely harder to take care of and need a lotttt more time + space than rats! not that rats are super easy haha😆 i wouldnt say ferrets are suuuper hard to take care of, but they do have a lot of specific needs and can be v difficult, plus they need a lot of daily free roam time. both smell tbh😆 but this is relatively easy to keep down for them both (although they will still smell a bit). i would say ferrets smell more than rats even if u keep on top of cleaning for both of them, since ferrets themselves have a p strong distinct smell. rats only really start to smell when their cage needs cleaning. ferrets cages are much easier to clean if you litter train them (although rats can be litter trained too) as rats tend to pee everywhere, and fully cleaning the rats cage takes ages! saying that, ferrets litter boxes will need daily cleaning to keep the smell down, and although they can be litter trained, dont hold them to never having an accident outside their cage! both are great pets but both have their own difficulties! i'm actually making a series of the pros and cons of each of my pets so definitely stay tuned for that, it might help u in deciding x
@@MaddieLeonczek that’s what i thought, thank you!! And i think rats would be better for me, i just wanted to make sure😚 I also might get a cat but i’ll definetly stay tuned for the series!
lol you look like your wiggling all over the place when you move in timelapse! :P haha you wiggle your legs a lot! XD lol this is really cool! :D you should definitely do more timelapses of yourself! :)
How do you find motivation? I love my pets, obviously, but I can't keep up. However, someone else wants them, not me, so I can't just get rid of them either. They are ferrets, messy ones that need tending like every hour >.< I have no trouble with my dog, and honestly, shes the only pet I want but I can't get rid of the others because other people want them.
omg just seen this as i was taking a break on this channel!! will hopefully be posting here again soon but in the meantime im over at Moonchild Pet Supplies if you’re interested in studio vlogs!🩷
