Unless you do only shrot town drives, a full DPF is usually only the symptom not the cause. I would check first if car has codes for a starting point. Common culprits in loss of power and full DPF is damaged vaccum lines, air leaks in the pressure piping and intercooler, bad MAF/O2 sensor. Anything that can throw off the balance between air and fuel that makes the engine run rich and produce an excess of sut. Mabe the EGR, i changed one on a 2.0D V50 but can't remember the symptoms. I got a knock off version of the Volvo Vida Dice tool, that allows me to run the engine in DPF regen mode for as long as i want.
@@connorspies Vxdiag vcxnano The pirate version of vida it's running has win7 prerequisite. Since I'm on w10 I had to create a VM with VMware to install the thing. Each time I got to diagnose I fire up the virtual machine and a update the vcx. It's not very intuitive and a pain to run, but the info from the car you get is worth it
