How you want to take that black center piece off you were talking about , the inlet where the bin connects go all the way down and what the bin sits on there should be a little screw unscrew it and it should come apart. Hope this helps.

There is a Post-Motor filter, It's just not User-Accessable. You have to take the whole motor assembly apart to get to it.
