Hi Pete ! I am a 72 year old shut in suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. after years of being an avid outdoorsman and hobby farmer being shut in and with 24 7 supplemental oxygen I tend to get discouraged at times. Your video content is 2nd to none and i only wish for more, more, more! Thank you so much for brightening my day ! God bless you 🙏 😊

I like how you have a tractor for every job. By buying, restoring and safely sheltering your collection of tractors you have saved the equipment and given them all active purpose as when they were built. I hope your tractors go on being cared for and worked for many years. Imagine the delight the designers would feel knowing the fruit of their efforts are being maintained and used after so long.

Howdy Pete. I really admire your ability to slow the clock down and put away outside pressures, and just focus on one task at a time. Whether it's your needlework, your clock rebuilding, or your tractor rebuilding, you seem to be able to focus on each step at a time. Some people (like ME) rush & rush until life's no fun.

Our small Iowa town had an independent garage run by WW II mechanics who worked on PT Boats. I knew of no project they'd ever turn down. And worked very methodically as you do in their efforts to successfully repair farm equipment once rather than seeing it come back in for further work which should have been repaired right in the first place. I marveled at their knowledge and willingness to explain things in depth as you do Pete. Keep up the great communicating!

I’m with you Pete, when I restored my great grandfathers 1951 cub, there were lots of things I kept because 1. It was still in good condition. 2. For as little as I’m going to use it whatever wear there is won’t make an issue in my lifetime, and 3. It’s better quality than anything you can buy from anywhere today.

Hi Pete. I have been told by several people that old Farmalls are not a chore for me. It is therapy. My wife was a city girl and had no concept what was the daily life of folks who kept old equipment working properly. She is amazed when she sees how I do my tractor repair. As well many other projects. I know I can't do it all like I used to now that age and medical problems have slowed me down. So much fun to watch a younger person do this work. Your videos, as I see it, are therapy for you also. Everybody has a there own therapy they use to help get through life. I, not only like watching the videos, but it gives me pleasure to watch how you handle your projects. Can't wait to see the finish product.

When we were kids when Dad was pulling apart equipment, whenever he pulled out those larger bearing assemblies we would wait to see if he threw it in the scrap pile. If he did we would knock them apart and retrieve the ball bearings to add to our marble collection that we took to school to play marble games...

Hey Pete, to make your pressure washer a hot water machine, just go online and buy either a tankless heater or a conventional 40 gal heater [propane or electric] for under $200-$300, install it near your outside location for your new wall hydrant. Then install a Woodford 22 CP or V22 mixing valve on the building exterior at this location, close to your heater. It has a single spigot, so hook your pressure washer to that and mix hot and cold water as you see fit. Less than a days work for everything. It works great, as several RU-vidrs have one, and you can wash your truck and car in the winter to rid the salt with just a hose. Good luck

Thanks for another really interesting video. I grew up on a hobby farm and worked many a summer on a neighbors dairy farm in my younger days. He ran all IH equipment and I spent a lot of time on the 574, 666, and 986. The 666 with open station was always my favorite tractor and thanks to your video, I finally understand after all these years how the Torque Amplifier worked on the 666. It was a real nice feature to have when running various equipment behind the tractor. After watching your videos, I'm even more impressed by how well these tractors were put together and appreciate you sharing your knowledge and explaining the operation of the various systems and sub assemblies. Looking forward to more videos of this rebuild.

Anaother amazing video, Pete. Thank you. When I saw you work bench with so many parts on it (I don't know for sure, but I doubt it was all the parts), I was so impressed with your knowledge. I see a couple fitting references to Mr. Rogers in the comments, your patience and knowledge in face of so much complexity and minutia, each getting proper attention. I haven't seen one of your videos yet that was not fascinating. And I just learned you repair clocks. I have missed those episodes; I have an old French carriage clock and I would love to learn how it works. Carry on lad!
