I found out a little late in the game that pet enzyme specific cleaner is also essential for cat urine, and i also use this on my sons mattress after an accident when the waterproof mattress cover fails . But id love a video on the nitty gritty cleaning of life with pets and kids... As you say, 'just because something works on the surface doesnt mean its the best choice ' !
Products that perform: Cape Cod for sterling silver objects; for large silver pieces and flatware that are not deeply tarnished, a solution or bath made up of Borax, table salt, warm water and a metal sheet (like aluminum foil for ionization). For brass, bronze, chrome: 3M Marine Metals polish; for wood: Guardsman; for leather: Weinman.
I wish I knew that the pumice stone created micro scratches before. My toilets definitely get worse because of using pumice stones to clean them for years.

For stains I use equal parts hydrogen peroxide and dawn in a spray bottle that is black to block the sunshine. I got that from you. Thanks. So cheap and works great!
I've used Concrobium Mold Control for years after finding out about it from my insurance agent after a major leak in the house. I miss Bon Ami, haven't been able to get it in the Mid-west US either. I use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers with water for glass (also an abrasive similar to super fine steel wool, but without the little shards), and last but not least - my cleaning caddy fits my bucket so they nest together for storage.
Honestly, I have not found a dishwasher detergent that works better than Cascade or Finish. If you find something that is effective, please let us know. 🙂 Great video, thanks for taking the time to explain the ways you use each item.

After one of your videos, I purchased some enzyme cleaner. What I can’t tell if it disinfects and if it is kitchen counter safe. Right now I use Lysol kitchen spray to clean counters but I would like to switch to your dish soap and water mixture. I also use the same dishwasher soap you use it and I really like it.
My old apartment building had monthly checks of all the apartments. I was told by my landlord to use a pumis stone on the toilet. I knew it didn't feel like the best way to clean it and now I know I was right 😂
I have a stainless steel fridge with the water and ice dispenser on the front. There is a water/calcium build up where the water drips a bit after filling glasses or water bottles. I don't want to use harsh chemicals. How do I get/keep it clean? How do I remove the build up.

Be careful with vinegar on porous surfaces like grout. It will eat your grout and caulk over time if you’re not rinsing it well. Also not for use on sealed surfaces like some countertops.
I’m having an issue with my shower drain. It’s a pan shower floor and the drain holes is all one piece with the floor. It gets so disgusting on the walls of the holes and there’s a lip right inside that’s just full of gunk that constantly just sits there. Is there a product that will clean this without me having to stick a tiny brush in there?
HI Mellisa, I'm having lots of fun making, mixing the DIY cleaning recipes in your E-Book I purchased. Can I ask what video and audio equipment you used or recommend? I'd like to do some cleaning videos in my home and in neighboring bars , coffee shops. I'm good with an iPhone, but don't want to tie up all my memory on my personal IPhone. I have a GoPro Camera that I haven't figured out how to use - I think that 's more for secret filming of Chicago thugs and abusive cops messing with regular folks (Like me) I can set up a tripod and I purchased some lighting.
