Great point about learning from others. So many people just can’t accept somebody else might use different equipment or have a different method (especially on the Facebook groups) so long as you get the job done and have consistently happy customers you must be doing something right! Terms of gutter get an old window cleaning pole and the gutter tool ends that side gutter you could clear easily by just pulling it all towards you i personally dont use a vacuum anymore because how i do it now is so quick and efficient

Interesting you had the high pressure hose going through the house, think of the damage it would cause if it burst. Is it worth the risk?

nice work mate i have a big white porcelain patio job this Friday any tips on working with porcelain slabs? I am a little concerned that the use of nuke pro might damage it and been told that high pressure could damage it

One of the easiest surfaces to clean mate. Try water first then 1:5 ratio of nuclear.

I set them but it's not something I enjoy doing but I feel helps give the job a finished feel! That being said I'm always surprised by the amount of waste breaking out the old slab bed makes and I never end up making any money from doing it as never really know how much to price it!

That's a great idea, only thing is you'd have to avoid rolling the vac wheels in the fresh pointing, part of the reason I did the gutters before repointing 😩

Absolutely agree on learning from others and having open discussions about techniques. The amount of crucifixion you get online from anything that differs to the 'stuck in their way' guys is surprising. I feel like I am pretty well equipped for most cleaning jobs now, but also haven't even scratched the surface on what there is to know. Being flexible with your approach is a great trait to have mate. Even this job alone you've opened my eyes to using a garden attachment on the backpack. Such a simple solution that never crossed my mind. Thanks for the video mate.
