Awesome to find this, saw the craigslist ad. I have 10 chickens (I haven't had to buy eggs for years!) Used to have some button quail I am looking to get into quail again but want the Corturnix for egg production. I will get in touch as soon as I finish building my quail coop.
Im so glad you found me! Yes, coturnix are amazing layers! Generally a hen will lay about 5- 6 eggs a week. Plus they are so quick to grow! 6-8 weeks you have a laying hen! Let me know if you have any questions and when. Let me know when your ready with the hutch!
