If Allis Chalmers was still in business today just imagine how many of those they could sell given the growing number of evening and weekend side gig farmers who need a harvesting machine with that type of versatility. They don't need high capacity as much as they need an affordable machine that can do a huge number of different tasks.
Couldn't agree more! So many things like this hit the scrap yard. What a shame. I find that the older I get, I look closer at the fence rows and abandoned old farmstead, looking for gems as I'm driving around. Thanks for watching!
Old video but why not just feed the side door because you don't need the cylinder or just toss it on the draper and not have to use the plywood? The issues are rpm, vane setting and screens. Cleaner = more waste but better seed.
Putting it into the side was my first thought. I was in sort of a time crunch... This year I plan on going in the side or use the All-Crop to harvest all of the seed that I'll need for planting. Then it will be clean to begin with. Thanks for watching!
