Thank you for showing me how to take apart the housing of the lint screen I’ve vacuumed I’ve purchased the long brush but I could still see link thanks again
Do you know what the wires are for that are connected to the filter you removed and cleaned? I could not tell if you disconnected them or not? I have mine apart now and wondered if I can disconnect those wires so I can wash the filter more thoroughly then reconnect the wires?
ID love to do the same but it appears the screw they use isnt a regular star one? please help! theres tons of lint and a couple small nails down there!?! WHAT KIND OF SCREW DRIVER DO I NEED
if its the kind that is the torx bit you will need to get a set like that www.amazon.com/DAOKI-12pcs-50mmT5-T40-Driver-Magnetic/dp/B01EE4VCW2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1509459956&sr=8-4&keywords=torx+bits+set here is the link for them
So I had forgotten about the wires and when I removed the filter I disconnected them without knowing they were there, that’s how much lint was collected in that part. How do I reconnect them? Does it matter if they are not reconnected?
Looks like I have the same dryer. The entire lint trap area came off when the dryer was running now I have no idea where to hook the wires. Can you give me an idea where to put the wires and on which leads? Thanks!
the wires have connectors on the ends that should have one for the sensor one wire goes on one end of the sensor and the other wire goes on the other end of the sensor and it depends on what color the wires are the one i had the wire was red and orange some could be red and black
it depends on the brand of dryer you have and the size you need the best way to find out is get the model number off the dryer and tell them its for a dryer then tell them the model number because they would be able to help you with the size
Makes sense that there's not just one size. My Gallery dryer looks just like your video, but I'll write down the model number and see what I can find. Thanks so much for the video and follow-up!
mike webb I called 3 different places they tell me it's going to cost an average of 150$ to clean the venting system aka.. exhaust duct Is it worth it or better to do yourself? What do they do to clean it that's worth 150 bucks???????
the vent in the back is clogged and there is a cover in the back unscrew the cover and the inside will be dirty with lint also clean the vent to the dryer and the outside vent because the outside one if its clogged it will do that the if you use a long vaccum hose and a brush you will get the lint out and it will help if i still had that dryer i would make a new video of it but i replaced it about 6 months ago because it was getting old but all dryers will do that if they are clogged with lint in the outside vent as well as the vent hook up on the dryer
you can do it your self its real easy there are brushes you can get that are big enough that will fit in the vent pipe to clean it out and the brushes are cheap its worth it if you do it yourself you can save the money www.homedepot.com/p/Dundas-Jafine-ProClean-Dryer-Lint-Removal-Kit-BPCK/202449691?cm_mmc=Shopping%7cTHD%7cG%7c0%7cG-VF-PLA-D26P-AirCirc%7c&gclid=CjwKCAjw9O3NBRB3EiwAK6wPT16ewYbaUYhGmP65camuA77xyjg627oHKLfxf5x4-Oa4Ys_T7Ik7rRoCKWoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CL-hmL-zqNYCFUS_TwodhsALqw
