Thanks for your comments. Think theres a song in what you just said 🤣. Need to get me banjo out anyway. Thanks so much for your positive comments. Paul and Sarah 😎👍🇬🇧
Hi Paul I have used windowize by Fenwicks and I was very pleased with the results the windows came up lovely 😊 love the double take with the sunglasses by the way 😎😎
Top job Paul. Never heard of the clay bar before & haven't seen the Fenwicks window stuff. I use Autoglym Fast glass which seems to do the job. Thanks for showing us different products, cheers Martin
Hi Martin glad you found it interesting. I've watched a few videos on the product. And I thought I'd step it up a bit bu showing people the claybar system as well. Not seen anyone else do this on there Van's or motorhomes. Cheers Paul and Sarah 😎👍
Hi. Yes it was really good to see the windows shine again. Im going to do a follow up video I'm going to do all the windows again. Just so I know there really clear of all contaminants. Cheers Paul and Sarah
Nice video Paul my caravan was eight years old when I got it and I have a bottle of Fenwick but it's several years old also but started using it lately but must say I was hoping for better results. Maybe have to invest in some new stock but if your able to start with a new van I think the windows just need a bucket of clean water occasionally and then the scratches shouldn't occur in the first place but my enthusiasm is renewed watching your video I'll give it another go thanks.
Hi David. Glad you want to do it again mate. Its a really easy process just takes time to get a good result. Thanks for watching. Cheers Paul and Sarah
Paul, I use a claybar on my van windows once a year, then I use a polishing machine with Meguiars scratchX Then a final polish. Result, scratch free crystal clear windows.. 👍
Hi Paul managed to catch the rest of video, never thought about clay baring the front windows don’t know why, when you think what the front end is exposed to it’s a must do really. Thanks.
Hi Colin. yes the front is right behind the tow car and even with a tow cover it will still get dirty. it just makes good practice to claybar them front windows. I will be doing the roof lights at some stage as well. cheers Paul 😎👍
Great result there Paul, I might get a clay bar to use on the motorhome bodywork as I know there are some contaminants on there. I rate the Fenwicks stuff so will get some windowize too. I have used the good old Autoglym Super Resin Polish on the windows too with a good result. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Nice one Paul good info going down Somerset c to get my winter cover off tomorrow at last hooping not to have any scratches on the windows otherwise will be following your method cheers for that Paul .kev
Nice one Paul, not being a acrylic expert but it could be the in the window from factory, ( the rough bits). Use clay bar on my ranger, never gave it a thought of using on caravan, something for me to do tomorrow cheers 😎
Nice one Paul, never considered clay barring on windows, especially the plastic ones on our ‘vans... 🤷🏼♂️ I have used it on a previous car and have to say it proved seriously good stuff (Meguiars?)... ✅ We have some surface marks and scratches, particularly on the nearside (bloody trees & shrubs in narrow lanes!), so may give them a go, if I can get hold of the Fenwicks... 🤔 Cheers for sharing, Rog... 👍🏻 😉 🐍
Hi Graeme. Its brilliant stuff. There are different products you can use as well. It can be the claybar Mitt which also is a great product. You will find it on ebay. And u can use spray bottle with dish washer soap as long as it glides on the surface it's good to go
