We've completed a number of projects to tackle the water pollution caused by historical metal mining and many more are planned.
This important work is part of the Water and Abandoned Metal Mines (WAMM) programme, a partnership between the Environment Agency (EA) and the Coal Authority, funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
