Oil cleansing WORKS. I used to have to go at my nose with an extractor daily. No more. I use oil as my first cleanse, then use a cream cleanser as my second. Squeaky clean, balanced skin and no black heads.

I read somewhere that double cleansing is recommended; makeup or not. It's because ppl use sunscreen (mainly physical) that is more difficult to remove if you use gentle cleanser. So, I usually do double cleansing even though I am not using makeup.

Acne prone sensitive combo (largely concerned about it working for my cheeks along with a daily chemical exfoliant that works) otherwise ill stick to an Emmulsive cleanser hybrid that washes off easier as a gel after exfoliation into toner>essence>moisturizer

My favorite is Dermalogica , oil make up remover . It works so well, I use it as my 2nd cleanse when giving a facial. Before using Dermalogica, I used to use DHC which I think is also a great product.

I love cleansing oils!! But definitely I do not recommend ❌ the rice water bright light cleansing oil form The Face Shop because it is not gentle with your eyes 🥺 . Last time I bought two bottles at once so I had to use them but I will not buy it again ☹️

i have extremely oily skin and i dont wear makeups, but i use oil cleanser to double cleanse every night. It helps clear out my black heads and pores so good. The finish from using oil cleanser alone is too oily me, so I have to double cleanse, but the results are amazing.

I use a mix of olive and avocado oil and not only does it work wonderfully for me it is super inexpensive (or essentially free) since I just use our cooking oil we get anyway lol. I like the thin layer of oil left after as it absorbs into my skin overnight and leaves my skin soft and evenly moisturized. This style of cleansing balanced out and cleared up my dry/oily acne prone skin within a week, I still get occasional breakouts but not nearly as bad and usually when I get lazy with my routine.

Hello. I've been struggling with oily skin mainly on my nose area, and I have noticed that it may be because of the nosepad of my eyeglasses since my nose area doesn't become oily if I don't wear my glasses. Is there a scientific reason behind this? Hoping for a kind response 😊

Thanks for sharing the tips unnie! I used to use The face shop rice bright oil but it kinda make my eyes teary so I need to wash with running water to fully cleanse my face. Then I found Etude House Real Art cleansing oil and it doesn't teary at all, both brands are good cleansing products. Etude is good choice if you're sensitive with cleansing oil.. My skin type is normal to combination oily.

So, if I could get some clarification it would be greatly appreciated. I use the dhc cleansing oil, but I am not sure if that is not enough. I love the way..u explain..but plz plz plz..can u make a video.on .. sunscreen allergy...I have used 2 sunscreen till now..... second one was recommended by my derma....but....it caused me allergy..and first one I used caused me contact dermatitis..m so scared...plz help...and make one informative video.on can sunscreen cause allergies to some people...j have researched so much.. nothing could help.me..u r my last hope

Hi wishtrend, without a doubt my favourite cleansing oil suitable for my skin would be klairs gentle black fresh cleansing oil as it has sunflower seed oil and light texture that works for my combo skin.

@@Manveenmakeovers omg I'm the sameee I've tried so many and my skin gets horrible! And honestly, it happens with anything I put on my face. When I try to use moisturizers my skin gets itchy and I get bumps or dermatitis, and cleansers are the same, even the ones that are supposed to be for sensitive skin.. I can't use soaps :( it's stressing

Cleansing oil does its magic my emulsifying. Oil, which is lighter than water, goes into our pores and mixes with our sebum, and then it moves up to the skin surface as it meets with water. That is how we can make our pores clean using a cleansing oil.

If we have sunscreen on, do we have to remove it first with cleansing balm, wash it and then do the rolling motion for blackheads ?

No, you don’t need to. If the cleansing oil/balm mixes up with the makeup products when you do the rolling motion to melt down the blackheads, the impurities can get back into the pores instead. That’s why we recommend you to wipe out your makeup first and melt down the blackheads afterward.

Right now I'm using the cleansing balm from then I met you, it has made my skin softer but I do not see a difference on how my skin looks... I mean, I still feel the texture but it's softer? I want to try one of these to check if they work for me... I have combo skin with oily issues

A cleansing balm can feel more hydrating than the cleansing oil because of its texture. However, if you have an oily skin type, it might feel too rich for you. What cleanser would be best for me. I have blackheads and have tried everything but cleansing oils to get rid of them so which of these would be best. I have like a combination or normal skin time. It does tend to get oily so that’s why I say combination but it isn’t overly oily unless I put moisturiser on it but to the point which would be best?

If you don’t wear makeup and use cleansing oil for blackheads, you don’t need to use it every day. We recommend you to use it 2-3 times a week.

No you just need to make sure you remove all the sunscreen or it'll clog your pores so if the first cleanse didn't remove it then double cleanse is a must

After applying the oil you should wet your hands and massage your face again. The contact of the water with the oil will make them mix leaving a milky appearance. This is to emulsify.

Blackheads are sebum from our pores exposed to the air and got black as it gets oxidized. Whiteheads are pores full of sebum getting bumpy on our skin surface as the opening of the pores get clogged and sealed. So the conclusion is they all derived from sebum.
