Hey Gunny, what is the reason for back to bare metal respray? Paint quality issues, I read forums of people having paint quality issues with the Patrols? Reason I am asking is, because I have a 2021 Y62 Patrol and wondering if this is something I am going to face. So far, the factory paint has no issues . I am polishing and waxing every couple of months.

Don’t spray painters do the fuel flap separately 1/2 hour before the car leaves 😂

Lovely finish from the Sata CC Gunny, can you tell me if water basecoat goes on flatter than solvent? you seem to be able to wet the panel up very easily with the CC setup but I find it takes more effort to get a wet closed coat over my solvent basecoat using the CC compared to my 1.2i setup in my X5500, the gun seems a lot slower with the CC compared to the 1.2i or is it just me🤔 Appreciate any advice Gunny👌John UK👍

PPG taught me that "slower is faster" when it comes to thinners. Keeps the surface from drying first and the paint dries more from the inside out.
