Cool video! I love the folio idea, but all of the EC ones I've tried are just too baggy for the planner itself. I'd like to see a more tailored look with the clear cover.

I totally understand what you mean. The edges are def a bit floppy. It's a trade off between buttons and zippers.

Love the wisteria one! I want to purchase one but I use a HP classic sized planner and I am not sure if it will fit! :(

What size is the classic? I Have some inkwell press disc bound that I can try out for you. They are listed as 7x9 and the classic HP is listed as 7x9.25. If that's correct, then I think they would be comparable.

@SamisSweetLife the 7x9.25. I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough wiggle room for that .25 inches!

You are most likely right, but it does have two buttons so I think maybe depending on what size discs you use, it might work. I will try to play around with it tomorrow and see. I have some other disc covers I could measure and try too. It's got me very curious.

Someone on YT tried it (I wish I could remember who), but the Happy Planner cover is too tall to fit into the back slot. It almost, but not quite, fits.

Oh I don’t like the way it drops out of the binder even when it’s in the pocket. 😊It looks loose, are you using the 18 month? I wish it had a slide in pocket on the front too

It only slides out if you don't tuck the back cover in. I haven't had any issues if I stick the back cover in that back pocket (how it's supposed to be used). I had just seen people do it the other way and demonstrating how it was a no for me that way he he.

It's quick but when I am pulling it in and out you see that large back flap that's intended for the back cover. The secretarial pocket is for whatever else you plan on sticking in with your planner. I hope that gives you a much clearer view of it. I realize it was way too quick in the review video.

Re: your being very particular--I was surprised you could tolerate the different color schemes in your frankenplanner, with your color eye :) I loved the MakseLife system, but the colors depressed me. Keep giving us the picky details, we all have at least one "small" thing that is a big thing to us. Thank you!

Ha ha! The color paper difference in the frankenplanner is the main reason I don't want to frankenplan anymore! It's so annoying having two colors of paper together and it's driving me nuts lol.

So for the Makselife System DIY idea, I was totally thinking of changing the colors around just slightly to whatever mildliners I like best. For instance, I am not a huge fan of red so I plan on using pink instead for that work/learning section. And I may do a darker or lighter teal instead of the like cornflower type blue that's used for the Health/Wellness section. I'm toying around with customizing the colors. Makselife uses way more muted colors than I generally am drawn to so I definitely want to make it more custom if I am already DIYing it anyway.
