@tonyenglish5153 Just about any cartridge will fit the ClearAudio tracertonearm. And other tonearms as well they come with the correct screws. I also own the Masestro V2 cartridge as well. The Charisma is their flagship MM Cartridge.
Hi nice system. I’m about to order a Clearaudio TT and their cartridges. The dealer told me that they offer retip exchange. Have you contacted musical surroundings?
@@mikez-ht7706 Just saw you bought a Clearaudio performance that's what I'm about to order with Tracer tonearm and either a Maestro MM or Hana Blue MC. How do you like your new TT so far?
@aquaplantandtetra471 Excellent high-level turntable, especially with the ClearAudio Charisma Cartridge MM, that's their flagship model Cartridge (expensive) but worth it! Clearaudio was running a promo at the music room .com where you purchase the ClearAudio Performance DC with tracertonearm, and I've gotten the Masestro V2 cartridge for free. $1,500.00 (free) So I tucked that cartridge away and went with the ClearAudio Charisma and unbelievable sound! The turntable itself is super quiet and takes patience to set up. I also went with the ClearAudio professional power 12v instead of the stock power supply. The Professional Power 12V provides improved filtering over the standard power supply, which delivers a much cleaner power source. Cleaner power and increased 'headroom' for Clearaudio's CONCEPT and PERFORMANCE DC turntables, thanks to a smoother motor performance and extended reserves. The resulting improvements in sound quality are significant. That also makes a difference in sound and also went with the ClearAudio Quadro Clamp,so my total cost was $9,500 with taxes but free shipping. It will be your end game of turntable.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. It’s hard to decide without auditioning. My dealer has a McIntosh MT5 for demo. It’s pretty close to what we’re getting. And it’s coming next week. Same package with upgrade DC 12 V, quadro clamp and a Hana blue MC cartridge. Ours will be hooked up with tube amp and pre-amp. My husband loves analog sounds!
