Looks amazing! I was curious about the long sticks on the shovels and look like they work good for this work. I noticed that not many guys use thumbs back east. It is almost standard issue here in Cali. I know they suck and are just in the way trenching but I have come to love em esp in land prep. We also use pin on rakes here are they common in yer neck? really make those pushes on the dozer much easier! Great stuff and love seeing the older gear! I am in Commiefornia and we cant use iron for business older than 2006... Its criminal. So much good equipment relegated to scrap or pennies on the dollar outta state
@@Jdigger4130 yeah so one of the excavators has a manual thumb we left it up to stump the land and let it down to stack brush. We do have a rake for the dozer and I’ve used it plenty of times but the teeth are worn out so much that it doesn’t make much difference. They are nice and look mean on that old Allis. I’ve got a picture of it in the community post, it might be the first post I made in there. I knew the regulations were strict over there. That’s going to hurt a bunch of small time people here if that happens.
