Genius idea. Looks way easier than shoveling! Keep up all the great advice and ideas. It definitely helps out a small guy like myself who it trying to grow my own business.
Hi. Guys. I enjoyed this video. It is different from leaf blowing, but it looks fun. In my part of the city, we have a snow storm again. The first snow storm the city of the Bronx had, it wasn't long ago. I had to stay home today. Will be going to work in the morning. God willing. God Bless you two. Keep warm. Maria.
Heck yea good vid. Even my husqvarna 125b handheld did amazing blowing cars and sidewalks off after i got the 9 inches of snow with my toro powerlite snowblower. Worth every penny im ready for lawn season tho
I have the same blower and did the same thing with my driveway lol. I blew off my trailer, the front steps, the vehicles, and then the driveway. When it is that cold, the snow is real light and powdery. I was able to clear the whole driveway in just a few minutes. My neighbors saw me do it, and now they are doing the same thing. We had the same cold, dry, snowy weather here in Kansas.
@@therobable1 we got 8" here Monday and then 5" here wendsday...it worked great for me both days. only struggled on any snow that had already been drove across or walked on where it got packed down
@@therobable1 right outside of springfield missouri. Some cities out here in my area got more some got less. But for me and a few customers houses we got what I said above lol
I used my br600 for my driveway and it worked as long as the snow wasn't stepped on. Definitely knocking on doors once the next storm comes to make quick cash.
You're right! Because I've watched your transformation I invested in a blower. That is how my little curvy sidewalk will be done and it's only because of UPS/FedEx that I do it as no one else uses it.
We had an industrial park contract and about 40% of our yearly income was from snow removal. Anything over 3" we got paid to remove. Most significant snows we would have 6-8 trucks plowing, a couple smaller tractors doing sidewalks and small areas and at least one snowblower running. I really enjoy snow removal of course sometimes during big storm you may be out there 16-18 hours and then it gets tiresome. Snow removal is definitely a different animal to tame. All your landmarks disappear and everything looks different. Glad you were able to have a little fun with the blower though. 👍👍👍
Amazing how much and how versatile air is and how much we use air to clean.. automotive air compressors are king for everything including cleaning and diag lawn care blowers just amazes me how we use air more then people normally realize on everyday life nice work Kevin @Lawn Care Juggernaut
Thank god you don't have to deal with this in Tampa Fl... I've never even seen snow and I'm 37 yrs old! Except the stuff that grows in the freezer 🤷🏼♂️
If you do a lot of snow like this where there’s not a lot but you still need to move it look at the snow plow shovel. They come in many sizes, I use the 36” one and it’s perfect for my sidewalk and driveway when there isn’t a crap ton of snow like most storms we get. If the snow is to much for the shovel then the snow blower comes out. The 3’ wide shovel makes quick work if small dustings.
I was going to blow the snow off but the cars were already covered in snow when I started and I would rather not have someone acuss me of scratching the car or something but I totally get what you are saying.
I do that with my ego blower when it’s possible to do (small amount and lite snow). It is fun and cleans better than a shovel. We’ve had around 80 inches of snow already.
😂 only good thing about using backpacks for snow is cleaning off customer cars right quick, otherwise you're a snowman by the time your done, and with the height and type of snow you can move with one, I can move twice as fast with my snowcaster snow pusher and remain relatively unfrosted. Glad you get to make some snow money.
I was at the ECHO dealer the other day.. he was telling me the new 9010 is noticeably more powerful than our 8010's ... i just have a hard time believing it. Thinking about pulling the trigger on buyin 1 though.. lol
Why not get one of those rubber spinning broom things that attaches to weed eaters? That way if it does snow you could make some money, and it can also be used to clean up dirt and gravel if needed so it isn't a tool you use only once every 5 years.
I have the 9010 and the 755 I just tried the 755 and that I got the 9010 stored for the winter and some how on the 755 the pad gets very warm that it kept me warm and felt like being in a heated seat and it blew the very fast and shoveling would took way longer and would of been harder and I did the driveway and the walkways so fast
This is - if not the best, maybe right up there... a $500-$600 piece of equipment. 1) For just a homeowner... Is it worth buying it?... I feel like my 215cc single stage Toro snow-thrower is faster, cheaper, able to handle deeper, wet snow. 2) If you already have a $600 leaf blower, maybe its fun to play in 3"-4" dry snow... I see this was just clearing a 4ft wide side-walk. How does it hold up for a 40ftx20ft driveway, where you're accumulating snow in front of you as you advance? I've been really thinking into buying one, but it seems like is not really intended for snow
brrr little brother that looks cold thats why i moved back to the desert in california ide rather melt in the 122 degrees day in the summer than freeze me mutts off in the winter like back home in elk washington i slipped on some ice broke my right hand in 14 places and slipped and fell on me butt jammed me spine into me neck.so know im in 40 degrees right know in the winter
I started to blow the snow off but stoped when I thought about it they were covered in snow when I started and because this was my friend job site I didn't want to take a risk of someone saying that I damaged there paint job. I appreciate the feedback back though.
