I changed to a University program and it was the difference of night and day. They did more tests, they obtained grants for me to be able to afford new and more powerful meds. They now have me on the transplant list. The key to the future is about today. We need to stay in shape as best we can. We need to be "Well enough to be Sick" Transplant is a long process and the better condition we stay in, the better the post surgery will go.

Try to switch insurance and make sure they cover prediagnosed ailments... if it's employer provided, look for a new job and ask in the interview process (some companies have the info on their website so you know nkt to apply there) what company they use. Then you can research their policies on that specific diagnosis, what treatments it covers and doesn't. I wish you the best, insurance companies job is to avoid having to pay... sadly.
