At this time of the year in Wyoming, USA, I look out the window at the snow, and tell my trees and shrubs 'we'll give them hell next spring!'

Love seeing the gardens in the UK. Where I live ( South-Eastern, Alberta, Canada) we keep the leaves on our beds to prevent frost damage to our shrubs and perennials. Our winters can last from the end of October, until the middle of April, and temps can be anywhere from 10*C to -45*C. On occasion we get warm winds from the west called "Chinooks", that blow in and melt a lot of the snow, but leaves us with ice to deal with. Our snowfalls, can be anywhere from 10 cm to a meter in any given day, and that is the unpredictability of the Canadian Prairies. We cherish our spring and summer from May until September where temps can be 15*C-40*C. This is a place where you can experience all four seasons in one day (not kidding), but I love where I live! Cheers!

Here in south Florida it's finally starting to cool down. Low 80's as opposed to high 80's.lol! I've started a few tomatoes, so hopefully will have fresh tomatoes up until April. Got a surprise dragonfruit growing in my mint planter,so now I have to read up on how to take care of it!☺ Love seeing you two on RU-vid. I miss the scenery in the UK but not the cold😄

I'm leaf clearing, but with a broom as my garden isn't too big, and also clearing the summer plants that died back in the first frost of the year a couple of nights ago - but not today as its chucking it down here in South London! Love the videos and your banter with Gary!

Hey guys! Y'all are getting closer and closer to 100,000! I have no doubt Y'all will be there soon. Here in South Carolina the leaves are falling and the cannas, hosts, and others need to be cut back. The weather hasn't been the best for working in the yard, but we'll get it done. ❤Pam

I have two very large deciduous trees ... i leave all the leaves on the garden beds (not the lawn). RAKE and spread them out evenly...... it's great mulch ... the rest takes takes me a couple of days to tidy up and drop the other leaves on the garden beds .. it has worked very well and changed the clay red soil into lovely dark fabulous soil to about 2 ft down....

I leave the leaves on the beds, blow the leaves off the gravel drive onto the lawn and then clear up the leaves off the lawn with the lawn mower. I find the lawn mower compacts the leaves so they take up less room in the green bin.

I’m in Virginia, USA. It’s our leaf falling system. My yard is covered in huge oak leaves a couple inches thick. I’m 68 & it’s getting harder each year to deal with. I’ve also been sick so I haven’t even gotten started on the leaves this year. I’ve still got loads left to fall. I’ll just do the best I can & not fret over it. I love you guys. You’re one of my favorite channels. 😊❤

We're (🇺🇲) winding up our Thanksgiving holiday. Gained 4 pounds, so gotta get that off right-a-way. In Oklahoma most of the leaves are on the ground. We mulch them weekly now until they're all gone. My leaf grabbers are wonderful! Thank you! I think we're heading into an El Nino winter pattern, which means alot of rain in our region. Argggg! My dog hates the rain, loves the snow. I put up a tetherball today, and she loves it, lots of excercize for her! Cheers 🎉 Gents!

In New York (zone 5b) we've had below freezing nights, so all the perennials have been cut back. On Tuesday we had our first winter storm. What growing zone are you in? Also, why don't you mulch the beds?

I want to know where you can find the bags. My family could use them for our leaf clean up. We have a pin oak in the backyard, I have been told came from my grandfather's farm a little sapling. Now shot straight up about 50 some feet, come fall leaves everywhere. Also helps that the name of my hometown is SYLVANIA city of trees.

West Virginia USA here. I spent an hour or so today cutting down a Yucca plant. Had a lot of dead debris on the inside so it was looking shabby. Also trimmed up one of my butterfly bushes. Blew out some leaves from the bed. Need to finish cleaning out my 6 other beds then do a final leaf cleanup. I should be done by next week with it all. Just in time for winter snow to fall.

I leave the leaves on the beds. They seem to mainly rot away over winter and I think they add nutrients to the soil. I sweep the patio and lawn though if there aren’t enough dry, windy days to do the work for me.

At this time of year in our Florida garden we enjoy the cooler weather and are out of doors all the time. Everything loves this break from the summer heat. The roses where pruned last month so this month they are flowering their heads off as is the loquat tree that will be fruiting at Christmas so we can make jam. The Christmas cactus and prickly pear are also flowering while the frangipani is entering dormancy.
