I will never understand how you can run a race track, and an airport, 2 RU-vid channels a racing team, a ful racing garage and a family. Kudos to yall.
It’s so amazing seeing the evolution of the Cleetus Macfarland channel. From the Quaker state oil and lube car meet to today. Happy to be a part of it and thankful enough to experience the FF multiple times. Can’t wait to see what the future brings. Many Blessings Matty & G.
Brother I’m telling you nothing has made me happier watching this…. Being a very busy man working 60+ hours a week trying to make future financial decisions for my family, and of course having my 2 beautiful boys ( now 7 and 3) and you have made me realise how much everyone struggles with this, but to take the battles in your stride and enjoy the moments when you can. I really appreciate you and Madi posting this truly. Thank you Garrett and Madi.
Love to hear of big families nowadays. My wife and I tried for 2 years to have a fourth, and unfortunately it wasn't in the cards. Congrats on the 5th, very cool.
Respect to you both man. I've had a glimpse into what you're going through as I had 2 under 2 (13 months apart) while I was starting my channel. Unfortunately, me and my wife broke up so when you said that there is nothing more important than choosing who you have kids with wisely, I felt that in my core. I have 3 kids with 2 very toxic women and it's made life so hard. I had to fight a horrible court battle for my kids while dealing with my breakup, and struggling to make youtube work and make enough money to live. I just know I have to make this work for my kids so that is what motivates me. Thanks for sharing and giving an insight into your personal lives. I really appreciate it
This brings back so many memories seeing you two going through the same things my wife and I went through. And the schedule thing hits so close to home. It makes such a difference. Crazy how one little change can effect multiple days.
As a father of two, whose mom and I are in the middle of splitting up the part where you said who you decide to have a baby with is very important. That part really Hit me . I don’t wish what I’m going through on anyone. I would have done anything for this woman, and now she doesn’t even let me talk to the kids (not even on Father’s Day) my kids are everything to me and this is killing me. I admire the relationship yall have
I know your pain brother. It was many years ago for me, but just know you’re loved. You have to keep thinking positive as hard as it is, because that type of pain has the power to destroy. God hasn’t abandoned you as much as it might feel like that sometimes. Just keep hanging on brother, change is coming and you are loved
Hang in there guys. My son is the oldest, he drives us to the brink many times, but also gave us some of our greatest memories. He was labeled ADHD in grade school but we didn’t accept that. Yes, he could be a big pain. Yes, he made me crazy, but he turned out great! We made him excersize and swim in his teen years, no drugs, kept him busy…. He is 24 now. Got his contractors license at 22, super hard worker, and a natural leader. God bless the Mitchell family.
Having kids was like jumping on a moving train and trying not to die. We survived. We learnt on the fly and haven’t looked back. The days are long but the years are short. Enjoy your gorgeous family cause they are what’s most important.
I agree. My brother and I are 18 months apart too. Inseparable until we got married/ families. Our families are close and we still hang out several times a month. Still mischief and shenanigans. We are nearly 60 years old.
Enjoy as much as you can bud, My daughter just turned 12 and my son will be 16 in less than a month. You’re gonna miss this part someday. Beautiful family.
Congratulations you 4, they're almost carbon copies of you guys from our perspective! We all wish you the best of luck in health and happiness, you truly are the American dream on display for the world to see. Thanks for giving us a little behind the scenes look. Such a beautiful family, can't wait to see future updates from this rambunctious crew!
The maturity journey Cleet has been on is amazing! From someone who has watched him grow up via his RU-vid videos, its been crazy to watch. And brother, you absolutely NAILED it when you said that WHO you have a kid with is so important. Man I feel like that may have been the most profound thing that you said in this video. And Maddie referring to Cleet as "another adult in the house" was WILD! Hahaha
This is a great video seeing the “family “ side of you all! Your kids will grow up strong because you all have a strong, loving, positive relationship!
Let's go cleet it's amazing to see just how far you've come since the start of this journey. Absolutely beautiful family and wish you all the best. Hell yea brother💯
I totally understand! I have two granddaughters and we go and baby sit a lot! I am ready to come home! But I love them more than anything! It gets better when they are like 4 or 5 years old. Cleetus you have a beautiful family so thank the man above every day!
It’s amazing how helpful is it to hear these videos. My wife and I have a 20 month old and our struggles are so similar. Makes me feel good relating to someone going through the same struggles.
For your kids being a sensitive sleeper, I CANNOT recommend enough to get a Dohm white noise machine. Seriously that machine was a life changer with my first born, and I've continued to use it for all 3 of my kids. Now they're old enough they don't need it, but I still use it FOR ME.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 that's basically what a dohm is except it has multiple airflow adjustments so that you can dial in the exact tone/frequency that is soothing to you. You can get white, pink, Green, and brown noise frequencies
It is very evident that you’re a wonderful set of parents! Without having the love and support of my parents and them constantly encouraging and enabling me to experience things and try stuff, and figure out who I am with their involvement, I don’t know where I’d be today. I know not anywhere good, though, as a lot of people I knew growing up without their parents being super supportive turned to things like experimenting with drugs, crime, etc. Kids will find influence whether you provide it or not 🙌🏻🙌🏻❤
Its a very different experience raising kids without being "well off". The stresses of financial situations is totally different. Clothes, food, bills, rent, payments, repairs, emergencies, its a different experience. Of course u have payroll for employees and fuel bills and tires and race track and airport expenses. But at the end of the day, u have a stacked bank account, financially stable, steady dependable income/salaries. Huge difference in life raising kids. Thanks for the content. Keep em coming.
I really like that you guys are keeping it real...There is something about saying that stuff out loud what you've been going thru that helps..I dont understand how but,i think this video will help you guys to stay even closer!!Beautiful Family CLEET !!!
In the Mexican household we raise kids to be able to sleep through anything and everything. Loud noises, vacuuming, music. Helps from having kids that are sensitive sleepers
Living the dream, brother. You must be one hell of a busy man I cannot imagine. My favorite family on RU-vid. Also, never feel ashamed to step back and take time off the RU-vids to have more time with the family, or try to keep the kiddies and family life off RU-vid. Your true fans/friends understand.
Thank you for this update video Cleetus and Madi. This one hit me hard. So many great points i can relate to as my wife and I have been going hard the last few weeks preparing for our 2nd. Although we waited between (our son is 7) I'm a dad who works on the road mon to fri or sometimes 2-3week stretches away from home at a time. The points you make about the balance of when you walk in the door and need to transition from work life/home life couldn't be more true. Our son was the same way with his sleep routines and sometimes i just felt completely helpless to my wife but luckily I did choose the right partner and this video just opened my eyes as a great reminder to just how freaking much I love the family we have created snd wouldnt change it for the world as we get ready to welcome #2. Thanks again!
Congrats brother. Enjoy all the moments when they're young. I couldn't wait for ours to grow up so we could do more fun stuff with them, but now I look back and miss their younger years.
Family looks great. Garrett getting old bud LOL. Wife looks very happy which is awesome. Killing it my guy. Track, airport, race team, builds, merch, business’ everywhere. For young couple I don’t know how it’s done. I wish I had half the energy. You are Parker make your folks proud everyday so awesome job.
Just keep your health in focus Garret, you are the key in this entire universe. Many things can be down scaled when you need it. Just down try to wait out difficult decisions.
22:48 they are young dogs just by continuing to love them and show them they have a propose in your life by giving love to your kids. My first Labrador lived 17yrs of my life, and his brother a Pomeranian pushed 14yrs. ❤
2 weeks out from my first. Wifes induction date is July 8th. I could not be more excited and terrified. This video has been extremely informative and helpful. Thank you guys!
I appreciate the video brother. My wife, 20 month old son and myself watched this as we ready for our daughter to be delivered the 3rd. I pushed for the 4th for a freedom baby
Hey Garrett. I have beem watching you since you're putting noise makers in your Corvette, exhaust. I've watched you. Grow your career and your family. Over the years, I would have to say I'm very proud of you for the The stable business and family man that you have becoming. It seems to be a lot easier when you have a good woman at your side. I am a 30 year Journeyman in my career. 50-year-old father of 6 kids, 5 boys and one girl ages between 26 and 7. A husband of 11 years. I would have to say my greatest accomplishment would be my family. Keep up the good work. Hell yeah brother....DIFD..
You guys are truly inspiring, thank you for sharing an insight into the home life. I live on the west coast and am not sure when I'll have enough spare money to head to way, but I'm super excited to get to Florida for a show
As a parent of none by choice, I still appreciate your family unit setup. Loving parents to the perfect setup of older brother to a younger sister. Sending you both internet high fives
Enjoying you two sharing a update on the family. It a breathe of fresh air to see how in.tune Garret and Matty are with each other and that is what will make it easy to raise children. You're right, there's No easy way to deal with kids at all ages if your relationship isn't going well and will cause problems with your family life. It awesome that you openly share this in the channel. By how ir looks that you can be open and say or express to each other things that most people don't sgare or say out of being embarrassed i guess. Idk what I'm getting at. Good to see how base you are and always stay based eith everything you do in family and the your business my friend. You're just blessing to me and my family to witness your lives to us.
As a father of 2, it’s def not easy!! I have a 3 year one and a 6 month old. Honestly it all gets figured out! Team work makes the friggen dream work. Thank you Garrett and madi for this video
In this day and age of instfamous social media celebrities only showing the world a fake version of the reality that they live, this is a breath of fresh air. Congrats to both of you. As a father of three, I recognise the challenges and joys that you talked about. The challenges change, but enjoy the ride. Keep up the good work brother.
As a father of boy/girl twins some thirty three years ago I can remember those days! Working 50 hours per week and three nights of trade school wears on one. Best days of my life! Enjoy them Garret and Maddie they will be grown up before y’all know.
12:18 That's when they are looking for the most patient and calmest teacher ever. They Always want to learn and if they are upset thier saying the learning needs to be amped up
Honestly one of your coolest videos. So grounded, thanks for sharing. I'm a single girl dad, she was just like your Ella. Both you two are a great inspiration..It never gets old when my 12yr old daughter AKA peanut calls me Daddy, so I feel ya..
Keep on keeping on both of you. You are doing an amazing job as parents and raising your kiddos the right way. Can't wait to see rips first car build, I bet he's helping Dad and Jackstand rebuild engines at 8.
Father of 3, the more kids you have the more you lean on your lady to be mom of the year. Especially if youre the breadwinner. Its not an easy ride, but its a ride, brother. Never forget you have a place in it all, thats what trips up even the best. Still working that one out. Sounds like youre doing the right deal.
Love the openness and transparency. We had our third when our oldest was barely 3, and I gotta say, adding the 3rd is even less of a change than it was adding the second. First baby is 100% harder than no baby, second is 50% harder, and third is 33% harder lol
Hell yeah brother! And sister!! What bottle is that your boy has? Just what we’re after!! Loving the honest truthful parenting! I’m all about that! Your wife has the mum game absolutely dialed! Congrats to her!!
My wife and I have raised 5 daughters and now they are grown adults and they bring us so much joy. Was it tough? absolutely! but the reward of investing in their life is priceless. My advice from someone who is going to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary in September....Put your wife first. When you guys put each other first then it makes the team work much better in raising your children. Thank you for sharing, I love your channel, May God bless you
Our second daughter is due in just under 3 weeks. Glad to hear the second one is easier than the first! Our daughter is turning 4 in a week. It gets easier. Up until a few months ago I still had moments where I wasn't sure I was ready for another. I'd say just after 2 - 2.5 years old is where she finally got to the point we could take her fishing and start doing the thinks we used to do again without pulling teeth.
You’ll unlock the next level of enjoyment when Rip is 5. The next level starts around 11. Gets even better at 14! I’ve got two boys 12 & 14. It’s so much fun these days.
Cleet is a true modern day man, great to see you being a great dad and the best partner you can be - Keep up the good work and love that you are comfortable sharing these more intimate moments :)
I swear my 3 year old gives me a harder time than the terrible 2s phase. And as a full time single father let me tell ya both of you are lucky to have each other to help when needed!
