They need to play like we’re down 45 or 50 points. But your statement is still valid. I just see it a completely different way.

No need to keep the 1st sting in when your up that much , because god forbid one of our starters go down .

It's also a chance for the 2nd and 3rd string to gain experience and develop. This was key in Clemson's six years making the playoffs. Get up big and get other guys in to develop. Looking good so far. Go tigers!

2's, 3's and 4's always need to play if the 1's do their job. I just hope the coaches stop trying to run clock with a run play every call and actually allow the 2's, 3's, and 4's to play as if the game were on the line. Run the offense as if we need to score this drive in order to win every single drive no matter who is in the game. Defense 1's, 2's, 3's and 4's need to work on gap integrity and run contain. We gave up long runs on 1st down all game.
