Clenet on French TV in 1979 w/ English subtitles

In 1979, the first segment of the French TV's series "Les Français du Bout du Monde" interviewed Alain Clenet and the Clenet Coachworks. Here we have the Clenet Cluster version which includes subtitles in English. Video quality suffers a bit because of TV format conversions yet it still provides an excellent historic background of one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made.

This reminded me of a neoclassic vehicle that was produced in my hometown of Goleta/Santa Barbara oh say 40-50 years ago. The Clenet!

Thank you for posting this. I'm French and I remember well that TV show that I watched when I was a young teenager in France. While watching it I promised to myself that one day I will also live in the US. Dream fulfilled, since I live in Florida now.

Bah je pense qu'en France c'est devenu une banalité, ça étonne beaucoup de pas en voir dans une société. Mais je pense que les syndicats ça fait très gauche et les Etats-Unis c'est un pays très droite. Je sais pas s'il y a beaucoup de syndicats maintenant aux USA.
