Spiritually speaking (gender aside), matriarchal wisdom can also begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth).The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary ego death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high cyclical awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. Mary's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as "Head to tail" (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus respectfully reenacting the understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12, verse 3) To carry the Ankh was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. A whole temple was dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J0m0zJSEFK0.html "See all women as mothers, serve them as your mother. when you see the entire world as the mother, the ego falls away. those side-crypts, seem like storage rooms, and in each, are the instructions to whatever was stored therein, that is why there are so tiny, no need for extravagance in the closets..................yes, i just applied modern-sensibilities to an ancient culture, but also, these people were incredibly technical in their methods, their records and their actions, and thus, i can presume, that like modern men, they sought pragmatic solutions that were functional

@@ancientsitesgirl that was my next thought, these people were so stylish and artistic that they carved every inch of everything....that's not easy i may surmise that the creation thereof was somehow almost spiritual to them. i imagine large work-gangs like the drunkards-of-khufu singing praises in slightly-buzzed unison [ perhaps they even engaged a rhythmic-effort, akin to some eastern peoples], as the melodies of endeavor, commerce, living and animal filled the days, and entertainment filled the nights. IF, i could be a time-fly-on-a-wall at anytime in history, i may select ancient Egypt for a visit...thanks for the input, and the presentations. = )

@robswright68
@robswright68 3 года назад
@@ancientsitesgirl It was suggested that the priests who proceeded up the stairs may have been drenched in ceremonial oils. If so then I think that the oils dripped and mixed with the eroded material caused by foot traffic and adhered back onto the surface of the stairs. This would explain the weird accumulation and the shiny vitrification.

Two things stand out in temples such as that (aside from the great plethora of wall imagery) and they are the gigantic size of the temple columns and the enormous height, but also the fact that so many columns were required...which was due solely to the lack of the engineering development of the arch. One would wonder why, in so many thousands of years of architecture, it was not adopted and employed. Very unintelligent or else very loyal to repeating the ancient 'sacred' style of that which came before. PS Luv the dress! :)

for sacred architecture? almost definitely loyalty to orthodox design. keep in mind this was the norm for almost all cultures, to build their temples in very basic styles, while advancing simply in materials. From Egyptian, to Greek, to Maya, to Mississippian, to Chinese since the Egyptians lived in a time when everything was sacred, and had to be upheld as sacred, deviating from standard religious architecture could have been interpreted as cosmologically harmful and imbalanced even in this video you can see how every little square inch of space on the walls, columns, and roof were devoted illustrating the most important religious symbols, not just as trivial wallpaper decor, but rather in a manner where the precise choice of used space dictated and communicated the importance of the symbols themselves it was the Romans who first started revolutionizing their religious architecture's inherent forms within a comparatively short time frame we know that the Egyptians could be very advanced in other forms of more practical architecture, such as river castles I suspect the Egyptians simply weren't looking for the arch, or its possible interior effects. even though they didn't invent the Gothic arch, I suspect their temples inside wouldn't have been much darker than say, Notre Dame on a less than sunny day
@myrongoingbuggie
@myrongoingbuggie 2 года назад
oh by the way, they actually did invent the arch for their granaries. Check out the great ruins of these granaries at the Ramesseum. dwarchive.com/sites/default/files/resources/DWC3112.jpg

First, I want to talk about Hathor’s curse story. I find mythology really interesting because from my perspective as a student of history, I’ve speculated that many of the gods and legendary individuals of ancient and classical religions were actual people that had power and authority in their cultures and developed reputations that were exaggerated over the generations. I wonder what Hathor’s massacre really was. Was there a plague or civil war that happened early in Egypt’s history that became the legend of the goddess’s wrath? Perhaps there was a war between the factions of Ra and other gods. Religious cults fighting against each other? Food for thought. I love the fact you mentioned that fringe theory about Egypt and modernity. We shouldn’t view other civilizations from the perspective of our own. I’ve said this over and over. I see too many people in my country try to view the world from the perspective of a individual in 2023. These people didn’t live in a 21st century world with 21st century perspectives. I think a lot of people assume that because ancient societies existed a long time ago and because they had less technologies, they were less intelligent and creative with what they had. Just because a technology doesn’t exist doesn’t always mean it’s impossible to accomplish a task; it just means that it has to be accomplished differently. For example; building the pyramids for example. I don’t think they had some technology far beyond anyone else. Egypt had the economic backing and resources. To assume that they would need some modern technology from some other source implies that they don’t have the ingenuity to build the pyramids with the technology they had. That’s just my take on it. What do you guys think?

Thank you it's wonderful. May I ask you how you obtained the privilege to access the part which is normally not open to tourists? As for your remark re the Dendera Light "we cannot impose our modern culture symbols or meanings on a civilisation so distant and different", how about if YOU could remember you cannot impose your own personal thoughts onto the Viewers' minds, thank you. It's likely, by the way, not "electrical" at all. Energy related, yes possibly, but "electrical" is YOUR interpretation of what you read from the people whom you despise so much - and are trying to TEACH. Little do you know, obviously. Do your research on this VERY Ancient civilisation which you clearly judge as less advanced than ours. For instance, the Optical Lens was used by them TWO MILLENNIA and A HALF BC, yes, you read this well: BEFORE "Christ" / BCE. Now, search a little further and you will discover else.
