Down 4-3, bottom of the ninth.. Ramirez AND Lindor coming to the plate. Everybody KNEW one of them was going to get that big hit. Felt it in your heart. But... they both came to the plate swinging for the walk off. They chased pitches trying to be the hero instead of being the dominant hitters they were. Amazing streak, you could tell near the end it really meant something to them. Healthy '16 Indians win the World Series easily. Just too many injuries.
Miss Edwin E! That man sure walked the parrot alot! Never realized how lucky we were to get the pitchers and hitters we had! What a lineup! Big shout out to Ramirez, Lindor, Santana, with the big at bats!! Also Roberto Perez had some super clutch at bats when they needed it the most!!
They were the "WIN-dians" until they faced the Yankees in the playoffs. When it comes to post-season play between New York and Cleveland, it doesn't matter what the sport is, New York always wins.
Leave it to the Yankees to end their "dream season". Of course this should come as no surprise, because when it comes to post-season play, it doesn't matter what the sport is, New York always wins.
