They are charged with that, the wording is weird, it's the interference charge. Doesn't explicitly state "911" in the statute, something like "interfering with communications to police, fire, dispatch..."
The media is barely even coming close to telling the truth in this video. They gotta spin the narrative to not make the officers look "as bad" that's why so many people are blind to this. The full body cam footage is disturbing to say the least.
so glad the prosecutor is "considering" charges. The arriving officers FAILED to follow protocol and the law, when those two were not arrested that night. I am sure they will be "allowed" to resign to avoid any type of internal investigation
@@raymondbigger5699 Yup. Then you'll see people asking why cops aren't charged for it, but most refuse to believe SCOTUS has ruled (a couple times now) that cops can lie, consequence free.
@@spicymayonesa are you sure? Cause if they were real Trump supporters they would know that Trump is pro Israel and the victim is Israeli. No self respecting Trump supporter would do that to an ISRAELI refugee.
Controversy rises when local cops arrive.. are presented with proof of assault, kidnapping, and robbery...with the perpetrators still on scene.. and the news article has no indication of any arrests..is that dereliction of duty??
I don’t know what news you watch, but it’s usually in favor of the illegals and minorities. They don’t even say their name or post a picture if it’s one of them involved in a crime. why don’t you go move to Venezuela if you love them so much
It’s the reality since the beginning. Why people think this is new is beyond me, they made bad cop movies since they made movies. Our government has been corrupt since day one
You are a weak minded person to believe trump is a bad president. Did he do anything bad under his first term? And how did you turn this into a trump issue
Fire them both. They both should be in jail for a hate crine. 1) Lake Co Sheriff + Cleveland Strikeforce DEA / HSI agent Dan Lajack 2) Cleveland Police + Strikeforce ATF agent Donald Kopchak
@@TomASwift lol so part time feds and they let them go imagine attacking a dude at a bar talking to the cops for 10 minutes then going home and getting paid vacation ur obviously a bootlicker or cop wrong video for u bud
Two law enforcement personnel, already drunk on perceived power, get drunk on alcohol and that perceived power grows exponentially, leading to the harassment, assault, and unlawful detention of an innocent man. Why are these two not being immediately charged?
Normal police behavior! They think they can do anything they want until they get caught doing it. And then they say oops sorry but I don’t want any accountability. It shouldn’t work that way stop using the rubberstamp that says we’ve investigated ourselves and done. No wrong.
US Code violations that Helen Keller could see...This truck driver needs to find a good lawyer...point him or her at this bustling metropolis,,and let him or her off the chain..
Why do you think cops act like they do? Most of the time they get away with it and when they do get caught, they suffer absolutely zero financial consequence for their crimes. None. The taxpayer funds their criminal activity.
The biggest shame should fall on the investigating officers who continued to treat the victim like a criminal all the while trying their hardest to cut the racist LEO a break. I assume the only reason the DEA and ATF guys were actually charged is that everyone had body cams on and, while the responding officers were abusive to the victim, they were smart enough to not risk their own careers for two drunk tyrants.
Yes, even the responding drones in costume made the poor guy stay sitting on the ground, talking to him as if he was some sort of dog who must obey. As you said, they did everything they could to protect their fellow drones to the point of the victim having to repeat himself over and over and over until they finally got it. Even after the people in the bar corroborated the trucker’s story entirely they didn’t want to believe him over their government pals. The worst part is that the man is too nice for his own good; I wouldn’t have left there until those two dopes were in handcuffs and getting stuffed in the back of a cop car. Now they will get away with it.
@@matthewpredmore6523correct. They kept questioning him in a VERY condescending manner and tried like hell to get the man to say I guess it’s cool if you let me go on my way. The agents are guilty of profiling , and assault .ywtteh responding cops kept trying to steer this in a way where the victim would not press charges . Several times in the footage they also mentioned that body cams were rolling and they chose their words according. Sick. All responding officers should lose their jobs as well.
Both of those idiots were rolling the dice and hoping that that man was illegal so everything would be cleared and there would be no wrong doing from them.
I think these cops were going to rob him, but he was smart enough to not show them where his truck was parked. There is no more clear case of illegal profiling. This is a hate crime.
Nah, they are so dumb they thought they were living a real life Tom Clancy novel, in fact I think that's literally a plot point in sum of all fears, but in the book it was a cement truck. What dolts 😂😂😂. But the one guy did admit on body cam to taking money out of his pocket, don't think I saw robbery on the charges though.
They weren't agents. They were police officers working on a task force. That's why the one cop kept saying they're TFO. Like someone else commented, they were drunk on their perceived powers as agents then got drunk on alcohol.
Oh wow I just watched the whole video from officer's camera. Its on youtube. The nerve of these guys...they've never seen an Indian man before? Pathetic.
Out of their jurisdictions, consuming alcohol, suspecting a guy for a crime in which no one is currently in danger for which they have no reasonable suspicion anyway. The most they should do is call local cops and tell them their suspicions. They have no business doing a darn thing themselves in a case like this.
This is unacceptable. It's one thing to be on duty while violating someone's right they swore to protect and uphold . But to be off duty at a bar harassing and holding this guy on the ground unlawfully is tyranny at its fullest. The problem is you actually have public officials believe they have supreme authority over you when they don't. I feel bad for the good officers that want to serve the community, because it's tyrants like these aholes which give hard working good officers a bad rep. Why did Hinckley PD not arrest these two. Oh I forgot brothers stay together. Back the blue huh? Total BS. Whoever the LT or SGT for Hinckley on the scene should of gotten a statement or affidavit from Brunswick PD to what he saw once he arrived on the scene seeing the guy on the ground so they could have had probable cause to arrest that guy. But what do you see instead, her asking the guy if he wants to press charges. Unbelievable
Not backing the cops or co-signing this new report but this was spliced together for a less than 4 min news report. The 2 wanna be agents were arrested and charged, don't recall with what exactly.
all the 'good' cops sat around and treated the helpless victim as a hardened criminal that was caught red-handed and treated the racist, xenophobic assholes like drinking buddies (probably are) and told jokes and kept telling them that the cameras were on so they'd shut up (which they couldn't help but crow about how great they were taking down a suspected terrorist)... then even AFTER they figured out that the 'agents' were the bad guys that had committed several crimes and the victim was innocents, they KEPT questioning the victim and not allowing him to act normal AND they let the actual criminals go without even a warning or summons or anything.... additionally, how did the DRUNK agents even get home?? did they drive themselves?? that would be DUI (or however your State names it) and every cop there would be responsible for that crime as well.... did any of the cops even check them with a sobriety test?? did see one...
@mbourque and not only they treated the victim as a suspect, they deprive his pride by treating him like dog saying "sit down", "sit down". He didn't have to sit down. Why? For one it's not a lawful order, and 2 the officer can't articulate a crime to establish probable cause that he even committed a crime. In fact he sees an overweight white piece of shit and thug pinning that guy on the ground. And those officers knew they can violate his rights cuz they know he doesn't know how to stand up to tyrants. Hopefully that guy has gotten an attorney. I wouldn't need one, I can file my own shit
If they're "never off duty" then they need to be sober 24/7 while employed. If they stop having a job as a cop they can drink, otherwise they're not allowed to touch alcohol.
Even the cop who interviewed the victim had no right to ask him about his immigration status unless he committed a crime. I am pro-LEO but those two goofball cops deserve to be in jail. They give good cops a bad name!
It’s scary the psychology of these people. These are the type of people that would blow something up and then blame it on terrorism just to justify themselves. I’m more worried about the officers than the Ethiopian from Texas.
Question, the guy that introduces himself says he's a DEA agent but other news agencies are reporting he is an ex-DEA agent. Wouldn't impersonating a Federal officer in furtherance of a crime be a crime itself?
wait, wait, wait... they identified themselves as an ACTIVE DEA agent and an ACTIVE ATF agent... now we're hearing that they are EX-agents and only local cops??? wouldn't that be 'impersonating a federal agent'.... ??? wouldn't that be a felony??? and what about the third guy that was with them that also identified as a 'federal agent' and was helping to detain and hold the person they thought was 'illegal'?? but then he was just 'a civilian that was not involved'.. even though the bartender clearly stated that there were THREE of them harassing the victim... and that the THREE of them were together and drinking... .. and WHY are they EX agents but still cops?? did they get kicked out of their agencies and still wanted the privileges that come with law enforcement so they got jobs as local cops?? and IF they got kicked out, what was it for and is this a pattern of behavior of being racist or xenophobic?? and they were buttsore over being kicked out due to this kind of behavior so they decided to harass and get the guy that didn't speak english well thrown in jail and maybe even into Gitmo?? did they think that maybe if they got this guy in Gitmo, they MIGHT get their jobs back?? OR is it that they are just local cops that work WITH the DEA and ATF and they have dreams of grandeur and have now IDENTIFED as federal agents to another local cop?? wouldn't that STILL qualify as 'impersonating a federal agent'...?? because they didn't say "we're LEOs who work with these agencies'... they said 'I'M DEA, I'M ATF'.... at the very beginning of the ENTIRE bodycam videos (I watched all of them presented, not just this little clip) the 'DEA agent' says 'We start fighting with him'... then later he says 'no force was used'.... how can you have both?? and isn't that 'giving false information to a police officer during an investigation'...??? all the 'good' cops sat around and treated the helpless victim as a hardened criminal that was caught red-handed and treated the racist, xenophobic assholes like drinking buddies (probably are) and told jokes and kept telling them that the cameras were on so they'd shut up (which they couldn't help but crow about how great they were taking down a suspected terrorist)... then even AFTER they figured out that the 'agents' were the bad guys that had committed several crimes and the victim was innocents, they KEPT questioning the victim and not allowing him to act normal AND they let the actual criminals go without even a warning or summons or anything.... additionally, how did the DRUNK agents even get home?? did they drive themselves?? that would be DUI (or however your State names it) and every cop there would be responsible for that crime as well.... did any of the cops even check them with a sobriety test?? did see one...
Their racism shines bright! One officer said he’s been doing this for 25 years, OMG!!!! Yet Cleveland Leo’s can’t believe no one trust them. This poor man. Thank you to the sensible officers trying to piece this shit show together.
People are getting sick of this s***. The government sits on their hands and does nothing until tensions boil over. You don't have to be a chef to see where this goes. It's Betty crocker.
I wanted to see the full video but, I am so tired of seeing unqualified, narcissistic, bigoted, ignorant cops and their gang friends get away with trampling all over folks rights. It's like an old tv rerun that I'm just sick of watching because it appears nothing will ever change.
This is precisely why we should give as much credence to the testimony and claims of the cops as we do to that of the accused. All of them have reason to lie.
I watched the body cam footage of this and was blown away at how they treated this poor guy!! I hope they charge these meat heads to the fullest!! DISGRACEFUL THIS IS NOT WHAT OUR COUNTRY IS ABOUT!!
People need to watch the whole video. The cops tried their best to side with the other cops. They literally had no choice but to side with the immigrant.
@@geebone37 he immigrated here. He's been here for 14 years. He's a legal immigrant. Those cops were total jerks to him for no reason. Made him sit on the ground like a dog while they all stood around towering over him.
theft, kidnapping, unlawful detainment, racial profiling, false arrest. if they were armed and drinking, that's a violation of ORC. if they were armed when the events took place, then all charges become aggravated.
