New Years Eve celebration fireworks at Progressive Field (The Jake) on 31 December 2011 / 1 January 2012.
Happy New Year from me and my darling silly kitty cat! Stumpy Manx girl wanted to make sure you all know she really is in on the holiday greetings this year. Nope - I'm NOT just making it up :)
To my friends and family in Europe - Einen guten Rutsch und viel Erfolg und Gesundheit!

Technical details
This was filmed with my Ativa v22. The visual field is definitely not as wide as my HTC MyTouch4G Slide. While stationary objects frequently have more accurate color than my MyTouch, the fireworks themselves seem a bit off color at several points, and blurrier than what my MyTouch produces. Obviously each has its pros/cons. My MT4GS is not capable of doing time lapse video. The Ativa has three different time lapse settings, and with both 30fps and 60fps 720p - that actually equates to 6 time lapse settings.
Also - the bacon frying noise - that's my radiators. That's a little louder than real life. Another foible of this digital camcorder : the microphone is just plain awful IN FRONT of the camera -- I can't film a vlog with it, but if you are above, behind, or beside the camera -- the mic is hypersensitive -- EXTREMELY directional. If you want to be BEHIND the camera and talking at the same time - this is a mic for you! Also, as far as I can tell, this mic has something akin to zero sensitivity below about 300Hz. It's not capable at all of picking up the thumping bass from my nextdoor neighbor's stereo, the rumble of passing trucks, etc.
As much as I had to pan my tripod up and down due to the narrow angle, I plan to use my MT4GS for fireworks until I get something wider. Different targets, different cameras.
