I don’t understand people with the endless pictures, and most of them are nervous around animals, could easily spook the horses. But imagine hundreds of people constantly touching you! Bad enough those poor horses have to stand on that concrete, I hope their shifts are very short.

I am surprised they don't have a stricter policy for this behavior. She is clearly loitering, harassing the horses, taunting the guards and touching children and being a general nuisance. She seems to know what she can get away with and enjoys it. Tolerance on full display in London.
Exactly. I mean even if you like horses how long do you need to stand and look at a horse for. Its almost like in her head she thinks "Look, I've tamed the Kings guard and their horses, you members of the public now have my permission to touch the horse, as this is my work." It's obvious she isn't a tourist. She's been in months and months of videos. Why hasn't she been banned from there? Or some kind of non trespassing order placed on her?
No one should be permitted to get that close to the guard or horses. I saw an idiot guy slip the horse something the other day. Maybe a sugar coated hot mint. Within a minute the horse was freaking and it took an extra handler to calm him....these days people are idiots, immature and rude. They could slip the horse anything. Its the times we sadly now live in. They need barriers around the guards possibly. People don't care or listen.
I'd be afraid I'd be run through with the sword if I tried feeding the horse something. I remember some woman, possibly Karen, trying to give the horse water. The guard quickly put a stop to that.

Shame on England for not better protecting their horses and guards from lunatics. Obviously a barrier of some sort is needed and someone doing crowd control.
Maybe leaving the horse to roam the fields or relax in the stables is better protection for the horses, instead off having someone sit on them for hours and hours , then there would be no need for your barriers 2 , but I'm afraid the Palace want tourists and that is one big attraction the guards and horses, and hopefully when l go on holiday the locals don't call us lunatics, when we want pics ,there tourists not lunatics!

But you’re right about the constant criticism of “tourists”. The vast majority of sightseers are responsible people who cause no trouble for anyone. Tourism brings the UK economy over £100 billion a year and a couple million jobs. Residents should be more polite.

They have a sign saying horse might bite or kick , that covers them from any claims , they encourage tourists to vist the Palace, and take photos with the horses and don't mind ppl touching the horses, as long as its done correctly, don't you think they would have though about that sign ! economy comes first in the UK!
Yes the”Horse Might Bite’ sign covers the MOD against any such incident, but a similar notice should be displayed to protect the horse from the constant touching, especially on the face - how irritating this must be! It must be bad enough having to stand - I don’t know how long the poor animals have to remain in the position and with the heavy lump on it’s back, but it seems wrong to me. So people, instead of complaining about Karen’ visits, instead protest against the crowding and touching of the horse. What a life!
@@patriciabailey1937 Each horse has one hour of sentry duty. Then they return to the stable where they have a few beers and a pizza and complain to each other about the idiots that they had touching them that day.
My heart goes out to the guards. I'm sure they dread going on duty hoping she is not there. Enticing young children to touch the horse even though there is a sign stating they may bite. I feel so sorry for the horse too
Not to mention if a horse that size with shoes on stands on your foot and you're wearing flimsy trainers, its going to break your foot. My previous horse liked to stand on my foot, he weighed 550kg so a good 100-150kg lighter than these ones, the last time he stood on it (and they put all their weight in that one foot) it instantly became swollen like a balloon, the mark is still there 5 years later,and that was with correct equine footwear.
Sandra Wilson is a very calculating person. Talks to a young boy to encourage him to pet the horse for her when the guard pulls the horse back early in the clip then she engages with unsuspecting tourists to encourage them to annoy the guard and horse. She needs legally restraining.

Granted she is a pest at times but that is not a crime, had she been swearing or drunk she could have been arrested under a section 5 public order offence or asked to move on. When people act like her, & just keep hanging around, an excessive amount of time, insisting on trying to get close to people, touching them, shaking their hand , insisting on touching the horses when they get upset/don’t like her, but are ok with other people touching them, there’s a reason. Animals know who can be trusted & who has an ulterior motive. People, you better keep a check on your wallets, jewelry, etc.

What they should do is get some ordinary looking, nondescript looking guy to follow her discreetly, surreptitiously when she leaves and then when she's in a low key place far from the tourists relay her location to the bobbies and they can swoop in and pinch her with no witnesses and without making a big scene. That way they avoid the potential pr black eye by being harsh with her in front of the crowds, she gets the psych evaluation she needs and can be dealt with by the system, and the guards are rid of her annoying presence. A win-win all around...
They really should enforce a space between the horse and visitors. The horse is well trained as is his rider but they don’t need the inconsiderations of visitors, especially the lady in red who just wants to push the limits and see what she can get away with
What’s not fair is when the guard forces her back from touching his horse,it is preventing others from going near, as she then tells them that it’s a bad horse.It’s only for her that they do this to stop her touching it.

the guard should shout at her everytime she touches the horse! or get some off duty soldiers out of uniform to stand in front of her and make it clear she should be gone! but I think at the end of the day she should be barred from the area not only a PAIN to the guards but also the police and tourists
Maybe the authorities should check if she is here legally. If she is residing in Belgravia for example, they should check if her wealth is obtained from legal means.
