I bought some land last March and I have noticed the influx of new people since. There have to be at least 10 new construction projects on Cabbage Palm alone. Sad, I wanted to get away from South Fl, but it followed me. I still love it here!!

We almost bought a place out there glad we didn’t its got really bad the few little cuban stores are struggling. And as always people from miami coming to do bad stuff
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS didn't know it had gotten bad. My uncle bought 10 acres out there back in 2000 I think it was less than $3k an acre back then. Used to spend my weekends over there with him riding horses. He since moved to Boston like a decade ago. There were other Cubans there but it was mostly whites and Mexicans. There was an old country store called "Marylou's" where everybody hung out. It was safe and all the neighbors were friendly... back then.
@Pedro Martin, I currently live here. Montura has a lot more living here and more moving like every week. There are people buying property all the time mostly from Miami or selling them and it isn’t cheap like Southern Life said, like back then. Marylous still stands but yes, this place is not like it was when I first moved here in the early twenties. At least you can have some privacy and quiet since its surrounded by trees unless you have neighbors all around.
@@olgarodriguez5997 how long have you been there? What's the average price of an acre there now? Glad to hear Marylou's is still there. The owner, the actual Marylou lady had the biggest crush on my dad back in the day. She was a nice lady, hopefully she still owns it.
