Who is down for a road trip?
I miss the 2000s to the 2010s when Hollywood was not afraid to make mid to low budget feel-good movies of several varieties. At the moment, we only get those based on big well known franchises like Sonic and Paddington and The Looney Tunes. Bring back more movies like The Rocker and the feel good teen movies of the early 2000s.

5:36 I might need to watch The Rocker... After discovering Walk Hard (definitely not a family movie) I realized there are quite a few musical comedies from the 2000s-2010s that I overlooked. And I didn't even realize there was one with Dwight Schrute.

It was really good vibes. The lead singer in the band was some teen idol and it was rumoured that the movie was a vehicle to launch his career so the music is pretty good.

Everyone needs a side hustle 😅 I've heard theories saying Chef was a movie about Favreau's career. Can't remember if that was confirmed or not.

The scene with RDJ in Chef was weird.

Yeah it was really weird. I watched a video talking about the metaphors in Chef and how they were related to Favreau's career and apparently, RDJ represented Iron Man 2 and how it made money (that allowed him to make the movie Chef which is represented by the food truck) but it came at a cost. RDJ being the rich douche that helped him get to his dream. Solid metaphor if it is true.
