The before pic makes it look like she wearing a dress a size or two too big. The proper lacing and fixing those floppy straps makes the fit at the waist so much better.
It’s amazing how much the fit of an outift affects the look! With the before I was like “Oh, that’s the wrong style of dress for her” and then after I could see I was clearly wrong!
Love the impact that even the "smaller" alterations can have. You didn't completely transform this dress like some lf your other videos, but the changes you did make made all the difference.
Where I live, that is a flamenco singer's dress, which is a compliment. Nice to see a dress that actually fits the wearer, and flatters her body type; she just needed a tweak or two and a lesson on how to lace up the back.

I love the work you do! Just wish some of these people picked better dresses for their shape. Some of the styles are not flattering even after you alter them 🤷🏾♀️ but your work is amazing!!!

Stunning!! The couple of alterations you did pulled it all together. It does seem a bit odd you needed to alter a custom made dress, isn't the point of a custom made dress that it's made to your measurements?
If it was custom made from an online shop, either she measured herself wrong or someone made a goof. Because if it had been custom made in a shop, they would have had her come in for fittings.
