Main thing i learnt from Dan is not to be nice when selling. Be confident and clear of what value your prospect would get, and be brutally honest while finessing the words you use to lead your prospects.

Thid is very good advice only if you have really good service. Sometimes good service is not enough. The customer has to see it, and Dan did an excellent job of making the customer see it.

I've got a good way to overcome objections. Repeat; reassure; resume. So if the objection is they want to do research...say "so you want to do research, I understand that that. I hear that a lot from potential customers and I respect that. It's good to consider things carefully. But you know me and my company and any extra information that you need, I can give to you today...so once we sort that out, how about we do a deal on xxxxxxx".

Man, I just got started in real estate and am learning how to overcome objections and it’s funny because I am this type of person. Have to do all my research make sure the numbers work and procrastinate. This would actually make me feel better if I was a prospect. I think lack of trust and fear of losing money would be the objection behind the objection.

So the thing is that his pitch possibly has too much information dumpimg...very common objection to info dumping is the time objection...when I found myself doing this I always tried to revise my pitch to be more direct and to be a bit more interactive with the customer...its like you're giving a speech instead of a sales pitch...I like Dan's advice here, if you cant steal the objection, your only other option is to kill it altogether...

Hi Dan, I'm running a small rental car company. I rent to interns that come on the island. Sometimes when talking to them (whatsapp) they tell they are gonna think about it. How can i incorporate this strategy in my rental business. I dont have many referals yet but i have a facebook account with at least 80 likes since i started using it. I have been using many of your techniques and they helped me alot. Sometimes i concince them to take a free test ride with me in the car and we talk. Thats how i concince some of them but i cant do that all the time cuz of my main job. I still have a job but over a cople.of years i wanna go on my own..thanks

He’s talked about why he does it a few times. He pretends not to hear so the prospect has to say it again which makes the prospect more confident in their decision.

The customer could say "I do not want you to tell me about yourself, because you will always choose the good part and show the nice colours in the portrait. I wish to do some research about what you did in your life before, what you have achieved and how. I also wish to go on forums and read about what your critics and former customers have to say " The customer is not a stupid guy....

Say "Trust me..." when you have never dealt with that person before, or delivered something successfully, usually never works. They have nothing to base that trust on.

Youre amazing man... im a social worker working with youngsters in need. I rent myself out to organisations. I know im better then my peers so i try to get more pay because i know get better results. Thats always the case. Videos like these built my confidence to ask for more money.... maybe that doesn't sound ethical for a social worker, but hey, i deserve it... and like i said. I get better results then my peers. So basicly, im saving money for my employers and the community.... and i work hard for it and i want that money ofcourse. Lol

I lost a sale from not handling this objection with enough finesse a couple of months ago. I offer testimonials and even live calls with a couple of our members BUT I never said "Let's pretend you speak with them, done your research etc - What would happen then?" This is such a fabulous refinement and I now understand how to 'tease' out the REAL objection and how to overcome it. Can't wait until I come across this again and use my new communication style. Thanks

I would say: graduates testimony won't help. I want to cross reference to 3rd party sources which are not from you. To see whether you are credible or not. I dont want any information from you because it may be biased for your own good isn't it? I want to see some negative news about you.

There are different levels of "I need more time to do more research". You probably have to think about it longer if you're buying a big purchase like a house or going into JV, as opposed to buying a $20 book or something. I do agree that if somebody says "Trust me", they are almost always lying and have something they aren't telling you.
