It's quite interesting to see this S&S Combo Tower with the siding going all the way up. I've never seen this before. But, looking at more recent photos of Cliff Hanger, it appears the siding only exists on the lower part of the tower now. I've also never seen an S&S tower with guide wires either. This must have been one of the first that they've produced. Nice video David. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Actually cliff hanger lost its tiles because locals were complaining that it was to imposing i think but this was the tallest tower ride in england hens the guide wires. since then the wires were removed
Great video, I'd forgotten all about Cliff Hanger. Certainly shows some nice footage of the park when it was well worth a visit and all the bygone classic coasters.
I find cliffhanger boring when it just takes you to the top of the tower slowly it’s more fun when it shoots you up into the air and I refuse to go on cliffhanger if it just goes up slowly what it’s not supposed to do when you’re on the ride
