Apparently a lovely interview with Cliff Richard this morning. Cliff is currently 83 and as I recall, he is the only person in history to have had hit singles in every pop decade since it began in the 1950s and he is still performing today, with some laughs along the way in this interview.
Sir Cliff Richard will celebrate his 65th Anniversary in the music industry with a series of concerts in 2023. Cliff Richard is indisputably Britain's all-time greatest hit-maker -the ultimate pop star.

Most important he's a outspoken Christian and he'll be with the Lord. Tremendous career. All Anglo Indians in India are proud of him. He left India at an early age.

4th April 1963, Gaumont Wolverhampton. My Dad queued all night to get me tickets. One of the best evenings of my life. Thank you to Cliff, Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch Brian Bennett and Brian Locking (RIP). And to my Dad - miss you x x

In mid '60s our local radio station had a 15mts program dedicated to Cliff on every Sundays, I was 12+, never to missed it, my love for the Shadows also start with that. Great to see him still singing as those yrs ago.

Cliff mentioned he had back trouble. I remember that my dad was his chiropractor in the 1970s. I met him one day when I was a teen. Lovely man.

He has always been an unassuming, gracious gentleman: Never vulgar or scandalous. He built/owned a small private clinic in the Algarve, staffed with British nurses. My mum stayed there whilst recuperating from a broken hip. Whenever I visited her I would have a cup of tea and a nice chat with some of the nurses who spoke highly of him. I wish him well 😊

My first Cliff Richard short player was Living Doll aged 15 and l went along by myself during school holidays to summer watch Summer Holidays. I loved Cliff's song in Summer Holidays, "The Young Ones." ..never be afraid. I was young aged 16 yrs and not afraid to go to work in Zambia during my early 20s.

My Daughter served him at the hotel she works at a couple of weeks ago and my Mother was a dancer on a TV show that he sung live on way back in the fifties!

I met Cliff once, very briefly, about 35 years ago. He was in the car park at Lloyd’s tennis centre in Hounslow and he was getting into a white Rolls Royce . I made a jokey comment to him about the car and he laughed and responded with a joke too. It showed a gentle and friendly nature .

Loved meeting Cliff at the Twist Club in Durban 1960's. Saw his show at the Playhouse afterwards with Mum and Dad. Best song l remember from Cliff - Summer Holiday. And the Shadows, excellent! Remember, Bruce Welch. Very kind who waved to me from stage. Fun times! God bless everyone.

I’m from the states and wasn’t introduced to his music until the late 70’s/early 80’s. During that time he had some big hits in America. I was actually surprised when I learned just how popular and successful he is in the U.K. Glad that he’s still out here performing and making music.

I wouldn’t say that. They are both tremendously talented. Cliff even wrote a couple of his hits. Not great, not up to Paul’s brilliance, but pretty good.
