This is a show that the U.S. originally showed 60 years ago which was originally hosted by Bill Leiden and it eventually made it out to England. It's nice to know other game shows that were here in the USA have made it to other countries, many too numerous to mention.
Wow. What a gem this is! I faved it for Sandi, but was attracted to it for the Cliff byline! Definitely one that had passed me by, as a fan, back in the day!
Cliff is a pretty good liar for funs on the show. He lied about the words ZIMB and INSOOT. This show is about finding obsolete English words that aren’t often used these days. Those five words are tough, OBARMATE, EATELICH, ZIMB, INSOOT, and CHUREL. In business world, we don’t have a chance to use these words. In our daily lives, if we use any of these five words, people would think we are either obsolete or showing off our knowledge of vocabularies in the old world. It is fun to watch the show but I would not use any one of these five words in my future writing.
