Since l was 10 years old 1966, l learned to sing living doll, evergreen tree, young ones etc....and now at 64 l am watching Cliff Richard still singing and swinging, wow what a guy....
Awww... Don't cry baby, mama loves your songs you are one terrific performer. Thank you, paul can diessen, for the upload Sir Cliff is the BEST!!!! God bless...
Great group, with Cliff. A match made in heaven. There will never be another group like the Shadows or a Cliff Richard. They just don't come like that anymore. Fan for life. ❤❤❤❤🎤🎶🎸🎶📀📀💎💎
Only just come across this version. I've been a fan of the Shadows (with a brief spell in my early 20s when I was 'too cool') since age 10 in 1961. The first rock and roll song I remember on the radio was this, by Guy Mitchell. Then I began buying 45s with the first being Wonderful Land, then most of the Shads' singles and albums followed. I've not timed it but I reckon they slowed this down a bit from the original, which is very effective, if done right, in making it rock more. Great version.
Cliff and The Shadows they can still do it putting on mega shows like this . I saw them when they came to Liverpool 2009, the home of The Beatles I wonder what happened to them, anybody!!!!!!.Alan.
I think Sir Cliff was being facetious re:. new song. At the very end, he also said that it had "been a boring evening". Also not true imo. Love Marty Robbins version, but also like it in shuffle tempo used here.
