I'm 77 years old, and I played Hanks Melodies and sang Cliff songs over a lot of years in bands in Germany. Cliff and the Shads are a serious and high quality band, they created music for generations. I see the full reunion concert x-time in a month: it reminds me of wonderful and sensational times, and it is still a big and wonderful part of my life. For me they are the best!! Cliff and Hank are the "stars". Greetings to all fans.
I was one of the touring truck drivers on this European tour which finished in Denmark. As a thank you Cliff and the band hired a complete Thai restaurant for a final get together meal for all of the crew. Magical times being served my meal by the band. Great memories.

These guys in their late 60's here. If you close you eyes, listen, you would think they were still in their 20's. Consummate showmen, all of them. Thoroughly entertaining 2 hours.
On my 20th birthday, 1969, I had a present from my girlfriend. It was an album, "Out of the Shadows". Now, 54 years later we are enjoying this wonderful concert together.

When I saw Hand with that Burns Guitar, wow, need I say more. I have the Bass version (with the Wild Dog),,of circa 1963 manufacture, and it still plays perfectly.

All I can say is that I'm very thankful for RU-vid otherwise I would never have found this reunion! Have loved Cliff and the Shadows since I was very young after having my sisters playing their music constantly and watching Cliff Richard movies on tv. Am reliving my childhood and I'm now 62.
Being from the states, I never really listened to Cliff Richard although I had heard of him back in the 60s. I watched his concert and I was very impressed and will now remain a fan. His back up band is absolutely fantastic. Keep on going for a long time. Thanks for your music.

Wow what wonderful tunes n singing, 60 years ago this was always on in the radios in my part of the world. In 1962 the band came here to do voluntary show for freedom from hunger, which dad gladly took us. The family felt proud taking part. Thanks Cliff, thanks the shadows, thank you all God bless

in my young years there were 3 great singers, Elvis, Cliff and Roy. Also how cool were Elvis movies and we went to watch Summer holiday with Cliff. I had a soft spot for Cliff Richard and I still get excited when ever I see him on youtube. Cliff Richard is still a very handsome man 🥰

Whenever I play this DVD/BlueRay recording, these brilliant songs and instrumental pieces bring back so much fun and great memories of my younger days; and these guys put up such a grand performance. I went to Cliff & the Shads final reunion (may yet be a reunion, reunion & hopefully i'll be at that also.) I've seen both his musicals. However, i haven't got either on dvd. I have the music .I've been to a lot off his concerts & I love his music & also him as a entertainer & person. And i'm a mere 64 nxt mnth

I am from India🇮🇳. And, I've grown up with the Cliff. Started with borrowed cassette, then CD and now on RU-vid! What a unbelievable transformation of the means. But, the original beauty of our Cliff is eternal.
Have seen Sir Cliff in concert 4 times over the years. He is incredible to see and his voice is just amazing to listen to. He never missed a note or beat and has maintained his voice over time..A legend for sure. Love this guy!!

I'm no spring chicken, but was a mere glint in my fathers eye when these boys were coming on form. Late GF told me she & her friend would cry in front of the TV watching the pelvis & falling off a Cliff as teenagers to the dismay of her father. She walked in 2010 age 60 to put dates into context. Never stopped loving Cliff as fashion wavered, she was always filled with glee with any manifestation. Nice to participate in the shared joy & sheer fun these guys extol. One of the greatest and most awesome legend of our time. Listening to his songs with the Shadows always bring back wonderful memories of my innocent youth where we listen to songs everyday.or play in the compound with the sound of music playing .❤❤❤
What these Lads have achieved is phenomenal. No one will ever do what they have done. Others come and go but they have always been there. Well done Lads.
I've heard many dozens of 60s groups do 21st century reunions; but how many of them have vocal chords _and_ vocal control intact? This is an impressive performance by a bunch of senior citizens who didn't get the memo about fading into the sunset. :^). And in-ear monitors are helping them sing _really_ in tune - very impressive..

Im 64 this yr & heard his music when i was about 6-8 &loved him since. I went to c Time & Heathcliff & various concerts right up to & incl the Reunion concert. As gd as when i seen him at a gig where i lived & my 17th b'day . Great singer & The Shads also.

Absolutely fantastic. So many memories. Love the music these guys played. My favourites were ‘The Young Ones’ where the words were so prophetic (I’m now 75)! and ‘Wonderful Land’. I remember it going to No 1 and Hank saying in an interview that they were nervous recording it as it was their first time with an orchestra. Never to be forgotten, Cliff and the Shads. Thank you.

Malaysia can never forget Cliff and the Shadows. They are really great . Imagine at the age 70, they sing and perform just like yesterday. I mean I am 76 now and still great admirer of Cliff and shadows since 1962
I'm British but learned to play guitar in Singapore when it was part of Malaysia. Local bands like the Quests whom I met still played a lot of Shadows songs and also wrote their own songs in that style. I am now 80, live in Prague and play in 4 local bands. I will always have a soft spot for Singapore.

Nobody ever heard of Cliff Richard & The Shadows in my neighborhood, but, I did and I still listen to them all the time! The reason is because I have relatives in England! I had the 45 of THE YOUNG ONES.

I grew up listening to cliff and the shadows my family were big fans , as a youngster I saw cliff and the shadows in concert ,I was totally in ore always excellent performances. I also saw cliff in his theatre performances also fabulous. I'm middle-aged now and still listen to cliff and the shadows ,great performers .xoxo❤

It's a shame that good music such as this is not around anymore. Even my favorite classic country has gone into the pits, to me, it's just noise now days. I won't even lend an ear to it.

Have been a fan of Cliff n The Shadows since the 60s. He is very very known n famous all over the world except-The good ole USA. He even released an album in the US titled “I’m Nearly Famous”. So sad that the US is missing out on those timeless beautiful songs n instrumental originals.
Only because the USA thinks Elvis is the best. Americans don't look further than the States they don't see what's going on in the outside world. I lived there for 10 yrs, yet I was shocked at the fact that some Americans thought I should be black because I came from South Africa. Wake up and smell the roses. Cliff has been here a few times for shows in the past. I met him personally as he sang in a revival meeting for our church held in a large theater. He is blessed. Look up on Google what Cape Town, South Africa, looks like. It's better than the French Riviera and cheaper. Enjoy Cliffs music for many more years, and I'm now 73 years old and have been listening since I was in Grade 7.🎶🎵🎼🎸
I am now 94 and my son taught me about Cliff Richards and the sh Shadows all those years ago. Unfortunately my son went to that better place 3 years ago but he was with me and watching those young ones tonight on this wonderful thing called technology. I am 61 and i first discovered the Shadows in 1975 with the first compilation L.P i bought then....APACHE , FBI , GUITAR TANGO was on that great album..Then came a music show called MUSIC STORY , and i fell in love with the music of CLIFF...MOVE IT , THEME FOR .... Well , all those great early songs of Cliff... Then came my first tour in germany in 1977 , we first stopped in AACHEN where i bought that great double album with all Cliff's early hits...I still have it and i will love it for ever..❤❤ Thank you Cliff...Hope to meet you , one of these days...😊

After meeting Hank in Twickenham London and him telling me he had bought a Yamaha FG200 for £40 when I asked what guitar I should start on I was amazed he didn't recommend a strat. A friend who moved to Perth Australia and lives near Hank was invited around for a meal. An iconic band with a great sound. A thoroughly enjoyable video. Even the Beatles were fans...
I'm now 72 and there's never ever been a band better than Cliff and the Shads' to me...Ive even been around the world to see them live..Wonderful wonderful music, rock and times and most of all the pleasure they've given to millions the world over. Thank you thank you for the most special times in our lives. There aren't the words to express the joy we've had in our lives given to us by you guys, Cliff and The Shadows....
