The Cliffs of Moher are listed in the top 28 in the global online campaign for the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The third and final phase of voting is now underway with people again able to vote for the Cliffs from the selection of 28 official finalist candidates. All votes from phase one and two are not counted in the final phase so it is vital that everyone votes again.
The new 7 natural wonders of Nature will be chosen by an estimated 1 billion votes. Voting will continue throughout 2010 and 2011 with the official declaration of the new 7 wonders of Nature taking place on 11 November 2011. The famous County Clare landmark is Ireland's entry and need your support more than ever.

My husband and I were here a number of years ago in January. We stumbled on The Cliffs and I carry their wild beauty in my heart. They are heaven to me.

I can´t stop watching, I've been at the Cliffs twice while I lived in Dublin. Incredible and amazing place, I miss Ireland, good memories, good time, good folks, great environment, I really recommed.

Hi Jean.... surfing is a beautiful union between man and nature and a big wave named Aileen's is right under the cliffs. It's an amazing spectacle to witness and so the relationship between man and the cliffs is part of the story.

just came back from a 10 day tour of ireland and the cliff of mohr was one of the stops and it was outrageous...i went all the way to the top of the cliff and took pics over the side with the water hitting the rocks, a must do trip, ireland in it self is beautiful and i am proud to say im irish with my ancestors coming from there in galway

Went there and it was spectacular but terrifying! The wind was blowing 39 miles per hour and we could barely stay on our feet. Truly amazing but scary. Hopefully I can go back and be there when the wind is more forgiving.

I was amazed when I went there to find that there is an elevator that brings you up and down the cliffs for free, the stairway down the side of the cliffs are a killer on the knees especially if you are over 40!

because of the hard work of the local tourist board, people from all over the world assume moher cliffs are the tallest in ireland. THEY ARE NOT!! that great honour goes to a group of cliffs in connacht, ... mayo, i believe. perhaps someone could check this out. then it is up to the mayo tourist board to get their fingers out and put mayo on the map!! well, any offers, ANYONE?
