Those that came long ago from another world tried to enlighten us but we had a dark spirit and squandered their knowledge. We have decimated our own spirit with greed and narcissism. I agree and disagree. It's to late to keep it below 2 C or even perhaps under 4. Just because the target is not attainable, it doesn't make the effort worthwhile. Every bit of making it a lesser hell is a good idea. It's too late to save 95% species, most human populations included, but does it mean it's not worthwhile preserving what we can? Current civilization must collapse, but we must pick up the pieces and walk through it.
What the hell are you bozos talking about? The "climatic crisis" that result in DECREASING deaths year-over-year is a desirable "crisis"! That's what's been happening for the past century. Climate-related deaths are almost non-existent atm. 2 Celsius plus (it won't happen - I wished it would) would be a blessing for humanity. That's why the Roman period was named "climatic optimum". Because it was 2C higher than today and everybody wore light robes, the land was fertile and the crop rich. I just laugh at your arrogance that implies you understand reality!
