Climb the Space Needle's Spire 

Space Needle, is that white thing on the very top of the spire a lightning rod;? and why doesn't this tower also have 3 flashing red lights and 6 steady red lights and a flashing white light on the very top of the spire and 3 flashing white lights in the center of the tower for the airplanes? These following towers have flashing white lights and flashing red lights for the airplanes: the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls, the CN Tower in Toronto, the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, the Willis Tower and the John Hancock Tower in Chicago, and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Space Needle, is the spire on this tower Seattle's TV stations' and radio stations' transmitter?
