I’m from El Salvador but I’ve lived in the US for almost 20 years now and watching your videos made me so emotional and nostalgic about my birth country! The lake is extremely gorgeous!! It is also very peaceful and tranquil. So many activities to do there and places to eat, a must visit destination!! 🙏🏼😍

I came across your videos on RU-vid. I was born in USA but raised at El Salvador, in Santa Ana for 8 years. I haven’t been back in 13 years due to safety concerns. Now with kids of my own I want them to visit and see how beautiful part of their background is. Thank you for such detailed videos and showing what makes El Salvador so beautiful. After seeing your series of videos, I am certainly visiting soon and the kids loved the videos as well (they had lots of questions lol). Happy to know you loved El Salvador Jack!
Definitely much safer now. I can relate with you, I was born in Thailand but raised in USA. I think it is very important to go back and immerse yourself a in your roots. Thank you so much!! The hotel cost I believe 80-100$ for the both of us (lakeside view, full bathroom, breakfast included). It is a little more on higher price but I want to say that it is hands down the best place to stay in lake coatepeque. The sunrise is directly straight ahead when you wake up it is gorgeous

The climb was not too too hard. It was medium level steep but just more long. There was not a clear cut path once you reach to the top. A lot of rocks that can twist your ankles but we went slow and steady 😊
