Climbing in Star Stable ft. Kweesy - Volcano in Ashland! | Pinehaven 

The house has old graphics. Those were the graphics of Elizabeth sunbeam's house before Valedale got an update years ago :)

I think the reason Ashland will never open is this... They probably started the project of building Ashland as a new region but never opened it due to the new style and graphics they are going for. For example SilverGlade got an update with all the new textures and graphics, they will soon be updating all of Jorvik to look like that, and the probably abandoned Ashland after they started updating the other regions because they probably don’t want to re texture everything when it isn’t even finished.

Tbh i think they're goin to change the area completely, when they're releasing it. Sso did that with Mistfall as well :(

My theory is that the kalters live in that house 🤷‍♀️ probably not it but that’s what popped in my head when I saw it.

Ok, I commented this on a reply but here's what is going to happen with the Ashlands: SSO said that this area WILL BE opened in the future. BUT, right now, we aren't up to a quest where we need to go to the Ashlands, so SSO is not planning on releasing it anytime soon. Keep in mind they can easily update the graphic style with time and effort, but right now they see no need to.

Ages ago me and my friend theorised that the volcano was literally garnok as a volcano is basically a shaft that leads straight to the centre of the earth so on Jorvik it would lead to garnok himself

Theory, also possible lore and story A long time ago, a volcano had erupted in Jorvik.It destroyed a region called Volcano Valley, in a small area inside what is now Dino valley.It has been closed off by mountains after the eruption. One day, two girls on fjord horses, decided to go on a journey to the old place.

I really hope Ashland will be opened but this is my theory. I bet they started making Ashland but then they thought of making new graphics as Silverglade has been updated they abandoned it and started updating the graphics more, they left Ashland behind and forgot about it, but hopefully one day they will make quests about it and cut scenes because that could be really fun. And maybe even that little house I have a theory that Kalters are there! They ran off with the Fjord horses and went down near the volcano! This is just my theory but I hope it happens!

My theory is that Ashland was Avalon's hometown, but the volcano erupted and immigrated to Valedale with Elizabeth. He did mention his country being a dangerous place, maybe he referred to that volcano. Also, a theory could be that the graphics were not what SSO was going for recently, so they made it a non-official region. I don't think places like those would get trailers, for many reasons. So it could be used for questing, but still a closed-off area from the trailer.

Wow ash land looks sooo cool

my theory on the history of ashland is this: The early settlers and days on jorvik had a point where people settled into the north by ashland. i believe this might be where the natives of jorvik got pushed up to the north due to the setters taking over most of the land. so their only place to stay was far north into the mountains. the land had snow but also had a nearby volcano that was thought to be inactive. however, the volcano wasnt and any natives in range of ashland or close to, were burned away. the natives closest to the outside world were left untouched. and the few survivors that made it out of the range in time had told of what happened. due to not wanting to leave their home in dino, as the rest of the land was populated, the natives built a gate and developed their town inside. with the natural mountains and strong gate protecting their town, they would be protected from the volcano in case it ever erupted again. the erruption had some long term effects such as making dino colder than ever before, and the valedale ice gate being closed for generations. leaving the natives completely trapped in dino. generations later, and jorvik has been well established, and the natives up north evolved to withstand the cold, as well as their horses. but with this, the land started to become warmer for some unknown reason, and the valedale gate slightly melted. this is when our character comes into contact with the kalters, and through that the kalters were welcomed back into the outside world. but they werent quite ready to step outside of the safety of their town as this was all new to them from what their ancestry has taught them. as people were informed about the kalters, the fjords were let into the open world, as a deal between the two, hopefully offering more comfort to the kalters. as this was going on however, a noise erupted from the distance, and the kalters packed their things outside, took their horses, and headed into the safety of their town, leaving the outsiders to fend for themselves. the kalters knew what was going to happen, and knew that they might be once again, be trapped in the town for years until the rest of dino would grow back. this is what i believe was the noise of the volcano, and why the kalters reacted to it like this. the backstory probably isnt correct, but itd still make a really good AU. maybe in return, we will get story quests in which we block off the volcano for good so that the kalters will have to worry no longer. its scary when you think about the vet we saved near ashland, thinking she probably wouldve been burned alive if we didnt find her. and if you didnt find her yet.. well.... yikes.

Once I climbed that wall to ashland, but not because I wanted to go there, just because I wanted to see the view, and then the warning text came up, and they sent me to my homestable. I was so scared that they are gonna punish me xD
