As you drive North into Samburu County Kenya, you cannot miss the giant Mount Ololokwe towering over you. This sacred mountain is of high importance to the Samburu community and has become famous for those people wishing to add some extra adventure to their safari.
Mount Ololokwe stands at 2000m and is one of the toughest hikes we've done in Kenya, mostly because not only did we choose to do it in the afternoon (becoming a race against the sunlight) but we also did it in rainy season and the mountain becomes very dangerous in this weather.
