takes so much guts to go up these hills. i love jaw bone. I try to stay away from hills like these lol... but it does give you a rush like none other. Getting stuck on a hill like that really sucks.
Much harder to do, you actually have to ride the bike, not miss a shift, be quicker on the bike than you can be on a big 4 strike motor with more torque and the ability to just sit down and gas it. If you’ve tried it on a 2 stroke and then do it on a 4 stroke you would know what I am talking about.
@kenny boatman hell yeah man, I respect that. Climbing big hills takes some balls and nice to hear you are doing it on a classic as well. Cr500 power is no joke. Your boy on the ktm has some huge balls so he would need something that big to get it done. I think I may have seen him out there once or twice.
My bud did it on a 250 Kawasaki, yelled down to me " keep it pinned in 2nd." When right up on my 250 quad( set up for Mx) went back got my 500 villa. No problem. Wasnt as tore up like in this pic.
I think you are talking about a different bull there. This one is not climbed too often at all. To make it on a 250. You better hit it pinned in 4th and be in 2nd by the time you hit the top. I think you are talking about jawbone hill, a much more kind climb than this one
Only been there once and I think I parked right at the bottom of this mountain, just off to the right of this shot. If I'm not mistaken, to the right of this shot there is a wash and then the main road to get here. If that's the hill that I think it is, it doesn't seem that bad until you hit it and it just seems like it goes on forever.
