The trail we did was called Subashiri, in the aftermath I’d recommend to do the Yoshida or even Fujinomiya trail if it’s your first time hiking like me!
Tips from what I've learned during the hike:
* Water is expensive, 500-800/yen each bottle, drink a lot of water!
* Bring 100 coin yens to pay for bathrooms, about 300-500 yen/each visit.
* It's very cold even in the middle of the summer between the 7th-summit.
* Bring snacks so you don't go hungry on the way up and down.
* I saw a few people with normal sneakers, DO NOT have that, the way down is slippery and your feet sometimes drowns in the sand.
