Puig Major is the highest. Great video but I could not see the sherpas? It sounded like Mount Everest. Next challenge is to leave at 17.00 sleep at the top in January in the snow and get back to Lluc for breakfast by 09.00!

The video was a bit over the top but was filmed as a pilot video to get filming/editing experience for some other projects I’m now editing- including the Inca trail and trekking to Everest Base camp (both coming out this year!). I’d definitely be up for a spot of overnighting up on massanella!

Bravo Joey! Congratulations for the ascent (and also for the not easy descent)! A very nice adventure with your young uncle... After the Icelandic volcanic excursions and the conquest of the mountains in Mallorca, you absolutely must come to Italy: on the mountains of the Val d'Aosta towards the Gran Paradiso (starting from the beautiful Cogne) and on the Dolomites of Trentino or the Alps of Alto Adige: if you liked the Puig de Massanella, you will be enchanted by the alpine views, believe me! Take advantage of next summer. The important thing is that you don't climb the mountains alone. I love you, because I was like you when I was young.
