I know where you are coming from by leaving the pack on the ground . I took a nice size treble hook and cut the barbs off that is attached to my pull rope so if I leave my pack on the ground I can retrieve my pack from up the tree . After I have done this I dropped my Grunt call with the lanyard on it so I lowered the my pull rope ( which is paracord ) down snagged my call back in business . Good video even if it`s from 2016
HI Lou, ironically I bought the same camera arm at the Bargain Cave at CABELA'S, and it was missing some pieces. They no longer make it so I had to buy A Fourth Arrow Arm, which I'm still trying to learn how to use. Maybe Andrew Penzi can help me figure out this contraption!
I recently bought that same tree stand. I was trying to figure out the way you strapped it at the end, but it was so fast that I almost got vertigo! Any tips you could give for quieting it down? Something's clicking and I have a long walk through the woods from the car.
Sorry about the delayed response. Didn't see the notification. The yellow strap hooks onto the hole then I go over the top to the bottom piece. I no long cross the straps but run them straight so my bag sits between and rests on the seat. More secure. I put pipe insulation between the backpack frame and the stand before I secured it. It is a lot of trial and error to silence. Don't overlook that the chain portion could be rattling inside the frame when you walk. The strap I loop over that portion got rid of that. Good luck.
I was wondering the same thing. If you get time maybe do vid in your yard or something to better explain it. I am also new to climber and have concerns about plat form taking a dive
Great video, I feel your pain on the climbing back down. Atleast yours was an equipment malfunction. My dumbass tied the pull up rope to the stand but not the pack lol. I check and double check it now lol
umm last year i was in my climber and i was letting my bow down and all of a sudden my rope snaps and my bow fell prolly ft😭 somehow my rope got frayed on something
