Climbing Zugspitze, Germany Highest Alpine Mountain at 2962M via Partnachklamm Reintal valley Route 

Alpine Climbing Adventure on the Zugspitze Massif. Germany’s Highest Mountain at 2962 meters, 9718 feet, which Lies in the Alps on the boarder of Austria's Tirol and Germany's Bavaria, each sharing a summit the eastern German summit being the highest!
The film takes Skye and I from the Ski / Mountain resort of Garmisch-partenkirchen where the trail head begins via the beautiful Partnachklamm gorge to an unexpected bivvi camp at 1444 meters, 4737 feet, at the head of the Reintal Valley. A 12 mile, 19K, hike threw beautiful fir and Pine forest and then dwarf pines towards the valley head. With magnificent Alpine Views of the Wetterstein mountains, along the way.
This is part one of a two part series of films! The next we start the mountain climb proper! scaling a near vertical mile to summit of the Zugspitze! Via Schneeferner Glacier and via ferrata! (Klettersteig)
