Thanks Bill! It's a 1937 D-18 strung with Elixir mediums and played with a custom pick that is very thick and very rounded.

@@tonywattbluegrass Incredible..very smooth tone..do you always use Elixirs? P.B. or 80/20? What material is the pick (TS)?

@@billdedrick1914 I always use Elixirs and I only ever use the 80/20 variety, and yes although I rarely play a casein pick

@@tonywattbluegrass Yes I have found the 80/20 med Elixirs to have a dry thick/fat vintage resonant tone on a good D18/D18V/D16H especially with forward shifted scalloped bracing.
